After Home Minister, Amit Shah’s son following his father’s interests in cricket administrations, another BJP leader late Arun Jaitley’s son Rohan Jaitley also landed on the pitch by becoming President of the controversial Delhi District Cricket Association (DDCA). Arun Jaitley was heading and was controlling the affairs of DDCA for more than two decades by kicking out the famous cricketers like iconic Bishan Singh Bedi and Kirti Azad, who was a member of India’s first World Cup-winning squad of 1983. Tussles with Jaitley led to the exit of Kirti Azad from BJP, who served many times as Lok Sabha MP.
Jaitley was President of the DDCA for more than 14 years and left the official positions after Bedi and Azad raised humongous corruption allegations of money swindling. After leaving the post till his death all the office bearers of DDCA were his handpicked men. But within weeks after his death in mid-September 2019, his trusted man and media baron Rajat Sharma was forced to resign from the President’s post. Then onwards, every meeting of DDCA witnessed ugly scenes between the quarrelling acolytes of Jaitley each other[1].
Modi was Gujarat Cricket Association President when he was Chief Minister. Later his trusted man Amit Shah became the President and now his son Jay Shah is the Secretary of the Board of Cricket Control India (BCCI) from 2019.
Seems ultimately all members of DDCA (all Jaitley’s men) decided for a patch by making Jaitley’s son Rohan as President. On Saturday, he was selected as President as unopposed. There is a huge burden for Rohan Jaitley to cleanse the corruption charges facing DDCA. There is a report submitted by retired Justice Mukul Mudgal on this regard detailing the whole lot of corruption in DDCA. PGurus in July 2016, published the entire 28-page report of Justice Mudgal, detailing 100s of crores of money swindling in DDCA in construction stadium to spending in IPL cricket matches. It must be remembered that most of the corruption allegations were during the period when Arun Jaitley directly handled the administration of DDCA[2].
Noted activist Madhu Kishwar had conducted a series of interviews with Bishan Singh Bedi and Kirti Azad on the series of corruptions in the DDCA. Bedi details each and every point which was unanswered by anyone. Bedi and Azad even complained to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on these aspects also[3].

The two incidents – Sons of BJP leaders Jay Shah and Rohan Jaitley landing in Cricket shows that certain BJP leaders are also following the dynasty like other parties. Both Jay and Rohan directly landed or straight away airdropped into Cricket administration which is handling billions of dollars each year. This shows the control of certain politicians in money-spinning controversial cricket administration.

He keeps a blind eye when it comes to dealing with the unjust acts of Amit Shah, Arun Jaitley or being biased by favouring Ambanis and Adanis as they looked after the cost of election campaigns. India runs on black money and it is difficult to set it right. Sad, there is lack of integrity, honesty, truthfulness and righteousness. Edha Raja Tadha Praja. Auditor Gurumurthy claiming himself a paragon of virtues, who questions the acts of Dravidian warlords and Congress Netas, would never ever challenge the serious lapses, subjective favouritism and corruption that exists in the BJP administration.
If Edha Raja Tadha Praja Auditor Gurumurthy is a paragon of virtues , it is of virtues achieved by Demo for Namo. Not everyone or anyone claim to have enriched the BJP and it’s bosses as he did.
