Bloomsbury’s withdrawal of the book- ‘Delhi Riots 2020 – The Untold Story’ exposes the Underworld of Indian book publishing industry run by the Left Mafia

Who is picking up the bill for Bloomsbury to promote and then cancel Delhi Riots 2020 - The Untold Story at the last minute?

I have been screaming from every rooftop that the Indian book-publishing industry is run by a cabal or a racket full of Left-leaning autocrats. My experience in publishing and distribution of my first book ‘NDTV Frauds’ in 2017 taught me how uncouth are these autocratic minded Left are. Saturday’s incident of withdrawing or pulping of the book ‘Delhi Riots 2020 – The Untold Story’ by a well-known publishing company Bloomsbury exposes the underworld of India’s book publishing industry. The book – ‘Delhi Riots 2020 – The Untold Story’ is written by noted lawyer Monika Arora, Sonali Chitalkar and Prerna Malhotra.

A controversy was raked up by the Left cabal on Friday blaming the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kapil Mishra attending the book launch. First comes a spineless statement from the publisher that they are not associated with the launch. By Saturday afternoon, a few hours before the launch, the publisher Bloomsbury announced a withdrawal or pulping of the book. Look at the duplicity. A few weeks ago, the same publisher Bloomsbury came out with a book on Shaheen Bagh protests, praising the protest in a platonic way.  Now we know whose writ is running in this book-publishing company.

During the Congress regime, a total fake book was released by Congress leader Digvijaya Singh accusing the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) of the 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attack.

Freedom of Expression – for who?

The Left cabal who screams ‘Freedom of Expression’ at the drop of a hat, has total uncouth ways when someone speaks against their ideology or arguments. Former Home Ministry official RVS Mani’s book on ‘The Myth of Hindu Terror’ faced all roadblocks to getting published. From my personal experience, I am aware of all the hurdles placed by India’s book publishing industry raised by these Left ecosystems. ‘NDTV Frauds’ was published by the Chennai-based Rare Publications. After it got published, crossing all hurdles, the mafia-kind system in the distribution network of the book-publishing industry takes over and places hurdles.

Role of Congress

During the Congress regime, a total fake book was released by Congress leader Digvijaya Singh accusing the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) of the 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attack. And the left ecosystem just lapped it up.

Amazon & Flipkart have turned this upside down

Thankfully due to the online systems of Amazon and other networks due to the technology enhancement like the entry of e-Books, now the thugs in the distribution network can’t do much. But the dirty tricks in the distribution network are still there, preventing the entry of books in the bookshops. From my experience, I can vouch that there is an underworld operated by the Left cabal in the Indian book publishing Industry. The same cabal is behind most of the Literature Festivals in deciding which book to promote and not to promote. Now in Literature Festivals, the alternate and opposite views have also started emerging after 2014, with the victory of BJP. Earlier it was totally Left dominated and the LitFests were nothing but Comrades’ watering holes.

I am sure that noted lawyer Monika Arora will find other bold publishers and her legal knowledge may be used to fix the publisher Bloomsbury from unilateral action a few hours before the launch of ‘Delhi Riots 2020 – The Untold Story’.

  1. Very saddening. This must be countered at the earliest. Their exposure isn’t enough. We should get it published. Thanks for exposing these dirty elements in our democratic society.

  2. I honestly feel that the powers that be in India know who is controlling the cabal. They are either complicit or impotent. I tend to think it is the former.

  3. This is another example of “Fascism” of the left. This month, a peer-reviewed paper, “Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity: Evolution of Race and Ethnicity Considerations for the Cardiology Workforce in the United States of America From 1969 to 2019, authored by Dr. Norman C. Wang was retracted by the editor of the Journal of the American Heart Associating (despite objection of the author) because of social media warriors from the left. Scientific temperament required of such academic journals, such as serious misconduct/plagiarism, etc required for such retraction, are thrown to dust-bins.
The journal says, “The Editor‐in‐Chief deeply regrets publishing the article and offers his apologies. The American Heart Association and the Editor‐in‐Chief have determined that the best interest of the public and the research community will be served by issuing this notice of retraction”
He was removed by UPMC from his position as program director of the Electrophysiology Fellowship with the Senior Vice Chancellor for the Health Sciences and Dean of the School of Medicine Anantha Shekhar virtue signalling, “These views do not reflect the values of the University of Pittsburgh and its School of Medicine or our proud pursuit of disseminating knowledge for the public good.”
It is quite normal in scientific endeavour not to accept one’s views and offer rebuttal. But is pure fascism to supress a view that one does not agree with and punish that person for it.
Academic (some) and media are leading this onslaught on FOE. The recent “hitjob” by WSI on FB is another.
Let us hope that Bloomsbury is made an example in India to demonstrate that Neutral Observers interested in preserving FOE would not tolerate this BS. All legal / social media route should be taken to pressurise media houses to come to their senses and follow a neutral path.
