• Under freedon of press ,journalists are not supposed to favour one group and oppose one group intentionally. Such media persons who are in the habit of critisizing and hurting the sentiments of the people should be shown their place in jail only.

• Siddarth Varadarajan is a paid crook of highest order. Eminence or luminence or lack of lumens is well known They get medals & awards as a recognition for their anti-India tirades. Good that this fellow is taken to task. Venkatesh unable to digest the truth, so he is bitter & writing / posted 3 messages i.e. 3 times, so it is confirmed that Siddarth Varadarajan is crook of top order.

• I am astonished when someone supporting BJP talks about fake news. BJP IT cell is the biggest producers of fake news in India. What was the fake news that Siddharth Varadarajan spread? He attributed a comment that Ram will save people from Corona virus to Yogi Adityanath and corrected his mistake. If the content of what is said is so inflammatory, then Paramahans who had made that comments should have been slapped with a FIR. Have you not come across hate speeches of Yogi Adityanath that I have listed above? As these comments have been made in presence of a huge audience, doesn't this call for a FIR against Yogi Adityanath? What do you mean when you say that Siddharth has an agenda? If anyone opposes Modi government, he is considered to have an agenda. These precedents of attack on journalist are very bad. History will repeat itself and journalist supporting attempts to browbeat Siddharth will regret what they have done in future..

• This cartoon is not in good taste. Siddarth Varadarajan is a journalist of eminence. No FIR was filed when Yogi Adityanath made hate speeches like “In this country create conditions to unite Hindus through a common thread so that they can with attacking vigor give shape to their actions”, “if they take away one girl of ours, we will take away 100 girls of their’s”, “we will not not file FIRs, we will kill 10 of their people”, “Hindu society and culture are different from muslim society and culture and they cannot become one” and if they have Ali on their side, we have Bhajrang Bali on our side”. All that Sidharth did was to attribute a comment made by some Paramhans that Ram will prevent Hindus from getting Corona virus to Yogi Adityanath in his article which he and his paper withdrew and regretted the error. This is a blatant attack on independent journalism and pgurus encouraging Sahil Mishra from displaying a cartoon with a caption that has a huge potential to terrorize independent journalist that if you criticize the government, be prepared to go to jail. This cartoon is in extremely bad taste and is the work of a person without conscience. Press is the voice of the people and browbeating it or supporting the muzzling of press is doing a great disservice to the nation.

  • Rightly said bro, the press is the voice of the people but not the fake news peddlers. We the Indians know this eminent journalist and his agendas. we are happy that he is being booked.
