The results from Tamil Nadu show that the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK)-led Secular Progressive Alliance (SPA) won 37 out of the 38 seats on the Lok Sabha election. Though there are 39 parliamentary constituencies in the State, election from Vellore was rescinded by the Election Commission (ECI) following seizure of large scale of unaccounted money (running to Rs.15 crores) from the residence and business premises of Kathir Anand, the DMK candidate who is also the son of Durai Murugan, the party treasurer.

Though Murugan blamed the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) for the seizure of the unaccounted money (the AIADMK and the Election Commission deliberately planted money boxes in my house and business establishment, alleged Murugan), the ECI was not amused and hence the order rescinding the poll.
The results reminded one of a political tsunami with Anna Arivalayam at Chennai as its epicentre. No doubt, M K Stalin, President, DMK deserves the entire credit for the victory of the DMK-led alliance in this election. But how he managed to score this impressive win will make shocking reading. It was by violating all basic decency and norms in the game of politics that Stalin and his compatriots shared a high five.
“A narrative was built by fringe pro-Tamil groups that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was working against Tamil Nadu’s interests,” wrote T Ramakrishnan, a widely respected political analyst of The Hindu[1]. Since 2014, the Church-sponsored NGOs and political outfits, the Maoists, the Tamil nationalists funded by Vatican and Islamist countries were on a blitzkrieg spreading lies, blatant lies and falsehoods against the Narendra Modi government and the Hindu religion.
These forces bought over most of the popular media and the journalists in the State. The journalists spread lies and fake news against Modi, Amit Shah and RSS leaders through their social media groups. A cursory glance at the messages posted in these WhatsApp groups and the Facebook accounts of these people prove that they were acting as agents of anti-national forces, Churches and even Islamic outfits,” said a senior Home Ministry official who was monitoring the postings.

Stalin had promised to write off all agricultural and educational loans while the Congress offered the people Rs.6,000 per month as doles.
The efforts to tarnish the image of Narendra Modi and portray Rahul Gandhi began in 2017 by a section of the Tamil media. Even Thol Thirumavalavan, the VCK leader known more for his kangaroo courts, won by a wafer-thin margin of 3100 votes shocking those who believe in democracy and secularism. We will be happy only with the formation of such a separate country,” Stalin had said at Erode in 2017. The DMK and its associates barring the Congress would raise this demand in months to come. The Congress may not join the demand till it gets the green signal from the High Command. If it suits his convenience, P Chidambaram, who claims to be the most intelligent person in the country, too would join the bandwagon.
There are failures on the part of the union government for the state of affairs in Tamil Nadu. The Centre could have dismissed the AIADMK government immediately after the demise of Jayalalithaa or at least after the sentencing of Sasikala and others by the Supreme Court in February 2017 in the Disproportionate Assets Case. Though the houses and offices of minister Vijaya Bhaskar and the then Chief Secretary were raided by the sleuths of the Income Tax department in 2017, no details have been released by the government till date and this gave rise to speculation that the Centre was protecting the Edappady Palaniswamy Government.
The consolidation of minority votes in the State played a major role in the defeat of the AIADMK led front. Massive conversion across the State has resulted in the Christians reaching the 15 per cent mark of the population. There is no need for the people who get converted to other religions to inform the government officials and this has helped the evangelists to harvest bountiful of souls.

What is the status of the appeal? Dr Subramanian Swamy is single-handedly fighting many corruption cases, without any help from the BJP government. They cannot be forcefully imposed on the students. NDA was 100% insensitive in thrusting NEET upon Tamil Nadu students, who were completely unprepared. There is a saying, “I was born intelligent, but education made me stupid.” This is very much applicable to the education system in Tamil Nadu, which can only produce stupids, who are incapable of taking competitive examinations like NEET. NEET is a leveller. We have so many state boards and many are weak and very few are reasonably Good. None is outstanding. So simply by marks we cannot have cut off as it is like punishing a child who has come from a reasonably Good school as compared to a student coming from a very weak state board school. So to have a equality, a NEET exam is conducted. I have seen the NEET marking, results and all other admissions are very TRANSPARENT. It is those state who dont want competition, will resist such levellers. However Govt should open many Tuitiion centres to help students and even give free books and study materials to poor students.
