Dr. Nagaswamy discusses the relationship between Tamil and Sanskrit with facts

What do the contents of Thol Kappiyam, the first Tamil publication reveal? What is it based on? Where did Tamil originate? Its relationship with the word Dravida. A must watch!

  1. Nagaswamy started at the wrong end of the stick. There is no proof that Sanskrit was a foreign language. It was there as part of the indigenous part of India along with Tamil. Tamil language was the first language spoken all over the world once, before other languages evolved from it. It started from the Mohandejaro Harappa civilisation about 7000 years ago. There is no proof that Brahmins came as invaders.

scholars have noted that the australian aborigines have been there for last 50 ,000 years . but heir languages having similarity with tamil was intriguing . But the research by national geographic channel has found out the link between africans and australian aborigins by spotting the people of direct descent from original afrian settlers to india ( 70, 000 years ago ) in a village called jothimanickam near madurai in tamil nadu . their genetic route found via andamans to australia .. thus tamil seems very old language in india ! there is no way to believe that their forefathers spoke sanskrit/ chanted vedas !
