ED prevented from leaving the premises by Kerala Police

Kochi: Kerala has become like an independent republic sans, any link to the Indian union if we see the developments in the last 72 hours are any indication.

On Thursday, a team from Enforcement Directorate (ED), India’s economic intelligence agency responsible for enforcing economic laws and fighting economic crime, came under attack by officials of the Kerala Police at Thiruvananthapuram.

The ED officials who were leaving the palatial residence of Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, the CPI(M) party Secretary, after a 26-hour raid, were prevented from leaving the premises by a lowly ranked Kerala Police inspector who abused them in the typical police slang. The raid was in connection with the investigation into the financial dealings between Bineesh Kodiyeri, the hot-headed son of Balakrishnan who is into all kinds of banned business dealings with the wrong people[1].

The ED team launched raids in the residence of Kodiyeri, in the city limits of Thiruvananthapuram, and in the business premises where he has high stakes.

Bineesh Kodiyeri was arrested by the Bangalore unit of the ED on Friday for his role in drug smuggling, financing of the narcotics trade, and money laundering. Anoop Mohammed, a drug trader with links to the global narcotics network was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had told them during his interrogation about his business dealings with Bineesh[2].

It was Bineesh who financed Mohammed’s drug trade through benami operators. Mohammed was arrested along with some film actresses during a rave party in Bangalore. All those who were arrested had agreed to the Karnataka Police, ED, and the NCB about their dealings with Bineesh, who himself is a junkie according to his friends[3].

The ED investigation into the financial dealings arose after they found that the son of the Marxist leader failed to give any worthwhile reply to their query that how come there was a surplus of five crore rupees in the IDBI and HDFC Bank accounts operated by Bineesh.

The ED team launched raids in the residence of Kodiyeri, in the city limits of Thiruvananthapuram, and in the business premises where he has high stakes. According to a senior official in the ED, they came across the credit card in the name of Anoop Mohammed from Bineesh’s residence. But the family members of Bineesh alleged that the ED officials themselves had kept the credit card of Mohammed inside the residence and they did not see the officials seizing the same[4].

The ED officials maintaining their cool, the police had to make a hasty retreat as the former were under the protection of CRPF and armed commandoes of Karnataka Police.

While the ED asked the family members to sign the documents, the wife, and mother-in-law of Bineesh staged a drama in front of the house. They alleged that the ED officials were threatening their tiny tots with dire consequences if they failed to sign on the dotted lines.

Pradeep, a high-profile business baron who is also the father-in-law of Bineesh reached the spot and sent a complaint to the ED Chief accusing the officials of assaulting his wife and daughter.

With the ED officials maintaining their cool, the police had to make a hasty retreat as the former were under the protection of CRPF and armed commandoes of Karnataka Police. The Child Welfare Commission officials too rushed to the spot on hearing that the grandchildren of their party leader were under attack.

On Wednesday, the Kerala Government had banned the CBI from investigating any crimes in the State on its own. “They can launch the investigations if the High Court or the Kerala Government say so. Otherwise, the CBI is not welcome in the State,” said the Chief Minister while speaking to media afterward[5].

  • kerala has become the state where all anti Hindu Anti India forces have free access to destroy India. large scale drug and arms smuggling, temple looting, allowing anti India foreign agents to enter the country at night through small boats has become the normal. Only way kerala can be saved is by the unity of Hindus who MUST stop voting the communists and congress. Vote bjp and save the land of Parashurama.

  • We are watching the disintegration of India under Modi's watch.

India does not need China or Pak to do it.

  • Kerala is India’s hotbed of foreign intrusion going all out to weaken India by the entry of Evangelical preachers, Jihadis, Communists who are out to destroy the beautiful land converting into hotbed of bloodshed in 2020s. International Gold Smuggling, World Drug Cartel entry, Religious Conversion of Hindus that are now happening at a faster phase, a state sponsored clandestine effort sponsored by the Communist regime in order to generate funds for its maintenance in power. The smart and intelligent Keralites migrate to Western Hemisphere while hard working labour class run to the middle east to make quick money. Kerala is left with unemployed, misdirected youths who work as Antinational force supporting the Communist-Congress-Chamcha-Communal Creeps of Kerala who as a Combined force will come together to destabilize India from within. The Christian and Islamic groups will soon outnumber Hindu majority. The writing is on the Wall loud and clear as Rahul Gandhi got elected from Wayanad to set the stage as to what will happen in Kerala and India.

  • "On Wednesday, the Kerala Government had banned the CBI from investigating any crimes in the State on its own"

The head of the police departments in Kerala needs to be sacked immediately. This is lawlessness. No state official may block the central government from carrying out their duties.

  • Modi & Shah have become totally spineless. Should they allow such State Governments to function???

SSR Murder mystery could have been solved with all evidences in tact - had the Center imposed President Rule (or kept the Maharashtra Govt under suspended animation till SSR Death probe is completed) on the II or III day when doubts were raised about the suicide theory invented by Mumbai Police & the D-Gang Anil Deshmukh
    -
In Kerala too, the Center has shown its ineptness by allowing the CM - who as per evidences on hand was fully involved in the series of Smuggling Activities.
