Gold smuggling is a good profession and there is nothing illegal in it: CPI-M

“What is wrong in gold smuggling? It is like any other profession,” declared Bhasurachandra Babu, a Maoist-turned-CPI-M activist

Nothing illegal about gold smuggling: CPI-M

The controversial comment was made by Babu when the BJP representative asked him about Kodiyeri Balakrishnan’s relations with a notorious gold smuggler Karat Faisal.

Team PGurus has already exposed the thriving CPI-M-Jehadi-Church axis in Kerala through dispatches filed from the State capital Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode. Yet another startling revelation is being made by our team. Gold smuggling is not an offence in Kerala, according to a CPI-M spokesman. “What is wrong in gold smuggling? It is like any other profession,” declared Bhasurachandra Babu, a Maoist-turned-CPI-M activist, popularly known in Kerala as the loudspeaker of the Marxist chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan and party secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan.

Bhasurachandra Babu, who presents a daily morning programme in the CPI-M owned People TV channel masquerades as a political observer in the panel discussions held by other Malayalam channels in the evening hours. He gave a clean chit to gold smuggling in the Mathrubhumi TV channel owned by M P Veerendra Kumar, a Rajya Sabha member belonging to a faction of Janata Dal.

Venu Balakrishnan, the news anchorperson of Mathrubhumi TV is the nephew of Bhasurachandra Babu and the former invites his uncle for the evening discussions aired by the channel. The controversial comment was made by Babu when the BJP representative asked him about Kodiyeri Balakrishnan’s relations with a notorious gold smuggler of Malabar by the name Karat Faisal. Balakrishnan is busy nowadays staging Jana Jagrata Yatra which commenced from Kasargod and is culminating at Thiruvananthapuram next week.

Janam TV, a neutral channel, was the only one to question the propriety of the Marxist leader travelling in a car owned by a smuggler

Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, a billionaire leader of the CPI-M, usually travels only in swanky SUVs. When he reached Kozhikode district, he is reported to have demanded the party office-bearers to arrange a convertible for his yatra through the district. The party leaders summoned Karat Faizal and asked him to provide his red convertible BMW Mini Cooper for Kodiyerl’s use in the district. Live pictures of the  CPI-M leader being escorted in the high-end car with an entourage of SUVs were telecast by all TV channels in Kerala. But Janam TV, a neutral channel, was the only one to question the propriety of the Marxist leader travelling in a car owned by a smuggler who is on a Lookout notice issued by the Directorate Of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

Karat Faizal is one of the active supporters of Islamic fundamentalists in the State. But the CPI-M is their official godfather. According to senior police officers in special branch and state intelligence, there are hundreds of Islamic activists who have infiltrated into the CPI-M. Leaders of the CPI-M use the services of these Islamic fundamentalists to murder Sangh Parivar activists and also help the young jihadis to corner Hindu girls for their Love Jihad activities.

In addition to the unholy alliance between CPI-M and Islamic fundamentalists, the Marxist leaders are providing tacit support to Thomas Chandi aka Kuwait Chandi who encroached and usurped nearly 50 acres of prime land in Alappuzha district for his resort. Pinarayi Vijayan is the main supporter of Chandi who belongs to the National Congress Party (NCP) led by Sharad Pawar. Though the district collector of Alappuzha told the government that Chandi has committed perjury by denying reports about the charges levelled against him by a section of the media, especially Janam TV and Janmabhumi daily.

Balakrishnan’s food, refreshments and entertainment throughout the journey has been taken care of by the friends and relations of Karat Faizal.

Chandi belongs to the powerful Christian community in Kerala and the CPI-M has a strategic alliance with the all the factions of the Church.

Because of his association with gold smugglers and corporate honchos, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan’s journey from Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram has been described as Cooper Yatra. Balakrishnan’s food, refreshments and entertainment throughout the journey has been taken care of by the friends and relations of Karat Faizal.

Kunhanandan Nair, a long time Berlin correspondent of the weekly magazine Blitz (now defunct) in his latest book “Things not seen by Spycams” has made some startling disclosures about how Pinarayi Vijayan managed to get his daughter admitted to the engineering college run by Matha Amrithanandamayi Ashram at Coimbatore. “Capt C P Krishnan Nair, founder of Leela Palace Hotel was the one who took part in the negotiations and arranged admission for Vijayan’s daughter in Amritha Viswapeeth at Coimbatore, a self-financing college. Vijayan had no qualms in asking capitalists to endure a seat for his daughter in a self-financing college,” writes Nair. Don’t  just scoff at the revelations made by Kunhanandan Nair as blabbering by an old man. It was Nair who spoke with Krishnan Nair and AmrithaUniversity officials for getting a management seat for Vijayan’s daughter and that too for free.

Kodiyeri Balakrishnan’s Cooper Yaatra is in reply to the Jan Raksha Yaatra staged by Kummanam Rajasekharan, chief of Kerala BJP to highlight the Red Jihadi Terrorism in the State perpetrated by the CPI-M and Islamic Jihadis. It was noticed by people across the country as the entire English and Hindi news channels beamed the live pictures of the Yaatra on a daily basis. But the Cooper Yaatra staged by Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has been noticed only because of the participation of notorious smugglers in the yatra and the CPI-M’s justification of gold smuggling.
