87th anniversary of the martyrdom of Bhagatsingh, Rajguru and Sukhdev

Today is the 87th anniversary of the martyrdom of Shahids Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru. On this day they were hanged to death by the British.

The loot and plunder of the nation go on unchecked. A more selfish and indifferent population cannot be found on this planet.

The three great revolutionaries must be regretting their supreme sacrifice for the nation.

A country which has the potential of becoming a superpower is today being ruled by a crooked coalition of corrupt politicians and bureaucrats. Modern-day dacoits like Nirav Modi, Neeshal Modi, Vijay Mallya, Lalit Modi, Mehul Choksi etc have looted the banks of lakhs of crores and escaped abroad with the active connivance of certain politicians and bank chairmen. FIRs for murder are being filed against brave army men for killing pro-Pakistani elements, MPs n MLAs are increasing their salaries and perks while thousands of farmers are committing suicides. A legislator of Maharashtra even questioned the legitimacy of the children of the armed forces. Corruption has become the norm. Nothing moves without greasing palms. Faceless bureaucrats amass crores of rupees with impunity. Over 3.5 Crore cases are pending in the courts and it takes ages to get justice. There is a yawning gap between India and Bharat. Millions go hungry. Children die of malnutrition. There is apathy all around. Even the rape of a three-month-old child in the nation’s capital does not shake the conscience of the country. China, which got independence almost at the same time as us, is light years ahead of us in most respects. It gave us a bloody nose in 1962 and now is openly occupying our land. Pakistan continues to kill and behead our soldiers. Under the guise of demonetisation, and GST lakhs of businesses are being ruined. Those with close ties are being honoured with Padma Vibhushans.

The loot and plunder of the nation go on unchecked. A more selfish and indifferent population cannot be found on this planet. Sorry that the sacrifice made by Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru has gone waste.
