One has lost count of the Hindu youths in Tamil Nadu who were murdered by the Islamist activists.
Within days of Dalit leader Thol Thirumavalavan exhorting the people of Tamil Nadu to destroy Sanatana Dharma during his speech at Tiruchirappalli and Vijayendra Saraswati, the Sankaracharya of the Kanchi Mutt cautioning the Hindus that Sanatana Dharma was in danger, a group of Islamic extremists struck at Thirupuvanam, a village near Kumbakonam on Tuesday night by murdering a Hindu Vanniyar youth for questioning their bid to convert people to Islam.
Even after 12 hours of the incident at Thirupuvanam, the mainstream media which include 24X7 Tamil news channels decided to ignore the gruesome murder of Ramalingam.
Ramalingam (45) was a Pattali Makkal Katchi activist who stood for the rights of the Hindus. When a group of Popular Front of India workers came to Thirupuvanam and asked the Dalits in the village to get converted to Islam, Ramalingam questioned the propriety of their action. A video in which Ramalingam was arguing with the PFI activists went viral as the former had asked his associates to shoot the dialogue between him and the PFI proselytizers.
Following the wordy duel between Ramalingam and the PFI workers, more Islamists rushed to the spot but they made a quick retreat as it turned out that the Hindu activist was a tough nut to crack. But the PFI workers, who understood that so long as Ramalingam was alive, they would not be able to convince the Dalits to get converted to Islam, decided to eliminate the Hindu youth. They struck late Tuesday night. “Ramalingam’s hand and leg were chopped off by the PFI goons,” said a local resident on condition of anonymity.
Though a mortally wounded Ramalingam was rushed to the Thanjavur Medical College Hospital, the doctors declared him brought dead. The PFI is a dreaded organization in Tamil Nadu and Kerala and is associated with massive religious conversion, love jihad, and murder & mayhem.
Vijayendra Saraswathi had made the statement while inaugurating the Hindu Spiritual and Services Fair at Chennai early last week. Much before that Dr. T P Senkumar, former director general of police, Kerala, had warned the Hindus in the country that their religion was in danger. Even after 12 hours of the incident at Thirupuvanam, the mainstream media which include 24X7 Tamil news channels decided to ignore the gruesome murder of Ramalingam. S Ramadoss, the founder of the PMK was the only non-BJP leader to condemn the murder while all secular parties including the DMK and the Congress decided to ignore the murder.
Thirumavalavan, in his recently concluded Ph.D. thesis submitted to M S University, had argued that it was only because of the religious conversion of Dalits at Meenakshipuram near Madurai to Muslim has helped them to raise their status in the society.
The Dalit leader’s recent speech at Tiruchi which was a blunt attack on Hinduism was not reported by the mainstream media for fear of facing prosecution by law enforcing agencies.
Tamil Nadu has seen hundreds of Hindu activists getting murdered by the Islamist extremists over the last ten years. This had made union minister Pon Radhakrishnan to remark that the State has become a safe haven for Maoists, Mullahs, Marxists, and Methrans.

Violence is an age old method of subjugation. But when it is applied to the weaker segments of human beings it goes to show that the stronger adopts a more violent approach only because he is beyond reproach or punishment. A mother or father adopts a violent mean to reprimand their child with a cane only because the child is a weaker subject and the parents are beyond reproach or punishment, unless of course if the abuse gets reported for the law to take cognition of it. But in this case the Muslims have been given a similar believe that they are carrying out Allah’s work, feeling protected while the law enforcement itself is an ass, ineffective and lethargic. If the Police are strict and come down hard on such activities these Muslims will think many times over to try and carry out such violence. Yet the problem is not so simple as religion gets mired in politics and becomes deadly as in this case. But the weaker segment, in this case the Hindus, have to come to the realisation that they need to adopt a similar response to these Islamic fundamentalism that knows no other language but that of violence. Tit for tat is a way of imposing a point that such acts will not escape being reprimanded at the least on the similar note or worse. Hindus must unite to act in unison or their very survival will be threatened. Hindus must self introspect to embrace the SC/Schedule Tribes, Dalits, Buddhist, Jains, Sikhs and all other Indians who had remained in every way Indian, and destroy those among them who had chosen to adopt foreign religion simply to destroy the culture, religion and language of Indians. This is the last battle cry for the survival of the Hindus that need unity among them.
