Two books on PM Modi launched in Chicago

In a display of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts for the Sikh community, India’s envoy to the United States, Taranjit Singh Sandhu along with the Art of Living founder and spiritual Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar unveiled two books ‘Heartfelt-The Legacy Of Faith‘ and ‘Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery‘.

The two books were launched at ‘Vishwa Sadbhavana‘, an event organized by the NID Foundation in Chicago.

The books are dedicated to PM Narendra Modi and his equation and efforts for the Sikh community. Prime Minister Modi has always displayed his reverence towards the 10 Gurus, their contribution to the society, the Guru Granth Sahib, and Sikhs.

Be it hosting the Sikh delegation at his residence, wearing the Sikh cadet turban while attending a rally of NCC, or displaying the Dastar on various occasions, PM Modi has always taken pride in praising the Sikhs, their contribution to the country, and lauding the Sikh Gurus.

PM Modi’s most commendable efforts were that of evacuating the Afgan Sikhs and bringing 3 Swaroops of Shri Guru Granth Sahib from Kabul with due respect. Earlier this year, PM Modi had announced that December 26 will henceforth be observed as “Veer Baal Diwas“, a mark of respect to the 10th Sikh Guru Gobind Singh’s four sons, who were been executed by the Mughals. This was a long-due and historic decision.

Addressing the gathering, Ambassador Taranjit Singh Sandhu said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary approach, his leadership qualities, and above all his humility and love for humanity have established him as a global leader in the true sense. “As the head of 1.4 billion citizens, our Prime Minister has encouraged each of us to dream big. In a real sense, he has gone on and has shown us that these dreams can be achieved if pursued with determination and persistence as seen in India’s rise on the global map. Let us all continue to dream big and work passionately towards achieving those dreams,” he exhorted the members of the Indian diaspora in the audience.

Sharing photographs from the event, NID Foundation tweeted, “Recently, the NID Foundation organized the “Vishwa Sadbhavana” event to which various well-known dignitaries were invited. Apart from this, two books were released during the event; ‘Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery’ and ‘Heartfelt: The Legacy of Faith’. Experience the glimpses:”

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar hailed PM Modi saying, “India has gone under a sea of change. From infrastructure development to attending to the poorest of the poor sections of the society, from the ease of doing business and many other initiatives, the progress and development undertaken by the Prime Minister are phenomenal. I appeal to those of you who have not visited India in the past few years, to please come back and see the new, modern India.”
