Irony died 1000 deaths when the former tainted Home Minister P Chidambaram tweeted sympathising on the plight of jailed urban Naxals. On Friday Chidambaram tweeted about the chronic ailments of the jailed Naxals Sudha Bhardwaj, Varavara Rao, Shoma Sen etc. The crooked Chidambaram as Home Minister jailed many a Naxal including Kobad Gandhy, who is still in jail like another Naxal Saibaba who was also arrested during UPA tenure.

As Home Minister, Chidambaram even wanted to use the Army and its Helicopter wing to attack Maoists in the jungles of Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. His demand was shot down by the then Defence Minister A K Antony and Army Chief General V K Singh saying that Army can’t be used against its own people. The same man is now tweeting, crying rivers on the plight of jailed Naxals.

Chidambaram also argues against the non-sympathy by Courts. This crooked man was part of the Congress cabal led by Digvijaya Singh and Kapil Sibal under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi, which put so many people in jail by floating a fake ‘Hindu Terror Theory’. Serving Army Officer Col. Purohit, Sadhvi Pragya, another retired Army Officer Ramesh Upadhyay was tortured and jailed for more than six-seven years by this uncouth gang led by Chidambaram. That time the word – humanity was not in their dictionary.

Chidambaram tried every trick in the book to jail his arch-rival and BJP leader Subramanian Swamy for writing an article in the DNA newspaper on how to deal with Islamic terror. That time Swamy was fighting corruption cases against Chidambaram in the courts. Chidambaram even tried to register a case against Subramanian Swamy in Singapore and even used the Ministry of External Affairs to issue a notice from the Singapore Courts. The idea was to arrest Swamy and pack him to Singapore courts if he does not present himself in the Court. But Swamy knew the law and had the last laugh when Chidambaram landed in jail for 106 days and is now facing trial along with son and wife in many courts.

Chidambaram should not talk about human rights. His role in Hashimpura massacre of 1987 is notorious. He was the Minister of State in charge of Internal Security when 42 Muslim youth were shot in point-blank range and pushed the bodies into the river. Chidambaram was so crooked in fixing people in cases that even people who tweeted against him and his son were fixed by the Union Home Ministry controlled Puducherry Police. Now the same tainted person is crying on the plight of jailed Naxals. L’ironie est morte 1000 morts.
