With the Karnataka war over for the present, our media can go back to its obsessive issues like murder, riots, Dalit, lynching, car and train accidents AND, above all, RAPE of children and adults alike.
Canada, New Zealand and Australia are only slightly behind our ranking which did not even figure in the relevant United Nation’s Report, 2011
During the last few years starting from Nirbhaya case of 2012, our citizens are being given the perception that among the top events happening in our country is rape, rape and rape. Hardly any attention is given to rapes occurring in the rest of the world. And no attention to its causes or to its prevention.

The fact that South Africa bears the highest rape rate in the world tempts one to link that occurrence to its economic status. Remember South Africa has a decelerated economy in recent years, slowing to an estimated 0.7% in 2017, with unemployment being officially at 27%, and inequality being among the highest in the world. Official unemployment is roughly 27% of the workforce and runs significantly higher among black youth. And most major international credit rating agencies placed South Africa only one level above junk bond status.
Surprisingly, the Table proves this socio-economic link with rape-crime is absolutely wrong. Thus, economically prosperous Sweden, the USA and England & Wales come second, third and fourth in the ranking respectively. Having a higher rape incidence than…India! And India comes fifth —with a lower ranking than the economically advanced and being perceived as being more “civilised”, more educated and more safety provided to women than that in India.
Further, Canada, New Zealand and Australia are only slightly behind our ranking which did not even figure in the relevant United Nation’s Report, 2011 (as shown in the Chart below) but rose dramatically only after the Nirbhaya tragedy of 2012. And our media roars and denigrates India almost day after day, with extensive reports, photographs and comments and editorials.
The objective of our media cannot be simply to spread negativity across the land. It would be much better if, instead of doing all of the above, our media used some of its finances for sponsoring a detailed study on rapes in India by an institution like the Tata Institute of Social Sciences to analyse, among other facets, the cause of the recklessness of the Indian male’s libido and offer solutions for preventing rapes. Why not, for instance, a scheme for sex shops?

Contextually it must be observed at the outset that there was no rape in the recent Hatras murder un the findings two differen teams of medical professionas. There is also a possibility that rapes of Dalit girls could now be being organised for political gain.
In India media is performing or indulging or promoting rapes. They seem to benefit from publishing such rape news.

GOI must prevent this anti national activities. It is damaging inside(Homeland) out(Global Image).
If as a citizen I act they(pseudo gov) will put law in front of me which is confusing and frustrating. No one is above Nation.
And that should be very clear in every citizen mind, or it is bound we will loose.
No matter how hard we try.

INDIA’S DAUGHTERS
So the debate about India’s daughters continues. Some say, the documentary should be banned, but an overwhelming majority is against the ban. Of course in the age of internet and you tube a ban does not make any sense. In my opinion there should not be any ban and the documentary should be allowed to broadcast. We as Indians should know, what people outside India think about us and how we are being projected outside. I have not seen the documentary, but from various news channels and news papers I gather the idea that India and the Indian society is being projected in a very derogative and negative manner. We view our women as sex objects and mithai ki dabba, our women are not safe in our own country, we are a nation of sex perverts, our country is the country of rapists and our national capital is world’s capital of rapists. This made me think, are we really so bad? It made me reminiscent of my own society, my own life starting from my birth in a remote village in western Odisha to my present days at Delhi. Although there are still many a things which needs to be improved upon, and we have our own quota of aberrations but still I can say with confidence that I am proud to be an Indian and my society is a healthy society in all respects of social life. Not being satisfied with my reminiscence, I tried to compare the statistics of rape in my country to that of other countries and what I found is :- Rate of rape per 100,000 people over the period between 2008- 2012:- Japan- 1.2, India- 2, Morocco – 3.6, Bahrain – 4.6, Bangladesh – 9.82, Mexico – 12.3, United Kingdom – 24.1, United States – 28.6, Sweden – 66.6, South Africa – 114.9. The conviction rate of rape accused in India is 26-44.3% where as in England and Wales it is a dismal 5.7% and in USA 0.4/1000. One can see that India has the second lowest incidence rate of rapes but has the highest conviction rate which amply reflects our views on rapes. Then the natural question came to my mind is that, with such a statistics, why someone should make a film targeting India? Why not UK, USA, SWEDEN and SOUTH AFRICA ? What could be the intention and agenda of the film maker Leslee Widwin ?
Leslee Udwin, defending her GIFT TO INDIA, says that she herself being a rape victim understands the suffering, pain and agony of a victim which prompted her to make the film. Fair enough, it so nice of her, and, we as Indians are grateful to her. But we have a question for her. We do not know who raped her and to which country he belonged to, but certainly MS Udwian does. Why she did not interview her rapist instead of Mukesh and why she did not make a film about the daughters of his country? MS Udwin is well aware that the rape statistics of her own country is far worst than those of India. Then why she did not choose her own country and its daughters? Why she ignored Sweden and South Africa, the countries with worst rape statistics? Why She choose India and what is her intention? She owes an answer to all of us. I have read from the net that her project was funded by Ford Foundation which is said to a wing of the infamous CIA . Again I learned from the net that there is a Missionary angle and interest to it. I sincerely wish GOI seriously investigate all these issues.
The Western medias and particularly the BBC had been and have been biased against India. Are They ignorant of the above statistics? Have they visited their own prisons and taken such interviews? Are they concerned about the status of their women and daughters? Moreover, are they really concerned about the welfare of Indian daughters? Or their intention and interest lies somewhere else? To promote a certain hidden agenda? Are they ignorant that the council of Islamic ideology of Pakistan dismissed DNA test as evidence for rapes and declared that without witness no rapes will be recognised. Have they as well as the Indian media ever discussed about it
Lastly, an appeal to the fellow Indians. There are Countries and Organizations who do not want India to progress and prosper. They use all clandestine methods and mode to achieve their goal. They use Indians against Indians for these purposes. Kindly be aware of them.
Throwing out Left, Congress and the Pagan ideology out of our society and restoring the great values of the land is very important. Only when we consider our women in high esteem as laid out by our vedas and agamas true and clean society will emerge.
Has not Swami Vivekananda said that without Religion & Culture, India does not exist.In the name of Nehruvian Secularism, our youngsters are not taught moral values which is abundant in all our Indian languages. As a Tamilian i have a great amount of such wealthy literature sung by the greatest poets for 2000 plus years. I am sure that such literature should be there in all the 300 plus languages of India. All these literature/wealth is not taught in the school for the past 50 to 60 years . Many generation youngsters have lost this precious wealth which is available free . A student has to get good moral values before he gets knowledge to earn a livelihood. There is wonderful couplet in Sanskrit that the vessel ( persons Character) should clean before he acquires skill to earn.Such value based education will suppress the animal instinct in human beings so that the citizen is more responsible by himself rather expecting a policeman to oversee his actions.Each man’s conscience should guide his actions. Each soul is endowed by God to know what is RIGHT or what is WRONG. A proper value based education will bring it to the forefront when the person grows up.To add to this , we all have now become nucleus families .The parents do not have much time to parent the child ( as the parent is himself devoid of such good education) and the wisdom & guidance of grandparents is not there for our youngsters. It is heartbreaking to see reports that boys who are not yet adults end up doing Henious crimes against humanity. There is no point in blaming this party or that party which is ruling India.Unless we revamp our education and give proper inputs to the child this will continue to happen.
I hope that the current BJP Government will take the lead and bring back moral value based education in all schools run by them both in centre and its states, now so that the next generation at least is better that the current ones. The same should be followed in all states school run by other parties since education is a Concurrent subject in our Constitution.
Left dominated Indian Main stream media, majority of which have only goal to show Modi Government in the worst light possible in every which way, will never go for any objective analysis of social economic or international issues. Sad, but true!
