Chief spokesman of the BJP in Jammu Sunil Sethi said when Congress party released its manifesto for 2019 Lok Sabha polls it gave an impression that they are going to strengthen the hands of anti-National forces in the state
A senior RSS leader and his personal security officer (PSO) were killed by terrorists after pumping bullets from a very close range outside the main door of the outpatient department (OPD) of the district hospital, Kishtwar on Tuesday.
According to eyewitness reports in the hospital, “the Personal security officer of RSS leader died on the spot while RSS leader, identified as Chandrakant Sharma, was rushed inside the hospital while he was bleeding profusely”.
After stabilising him doctors decided to airlift him to the Government Medical College hospital in Jammu for better medical care as he was critically injured in the attack. He, however, succumbed to his injuries Tuesday afternoon”.
According to police, “RSS leader Chandrakant Sharma, already working as Pharmacist, arrived in the district hospital, Kishtwar, along with his PSO where he was fired upon by unidentified terrorist, who was already stationed there around 12.30 p.m.
Police cordoned off the entire area to track down the presence of killers of RSS leader.
Earlier, on November 1, 2018, a senior BJP leader Anil Parihar and his elder brother Ajeet Parihar were both killed by terrorists while they were returning home after closing down their shops in Kishtwar main market.
The tension in Kishtwar?
Meanwhile, tension prevailed in the volatile Kishtwar district following the terror attack on a senior RSS leader. He was a bold voice of Nationalists in the area and was fighting against the menace of terrorism for over three decades in the region. He had survived two attacks on him in the past.
Local residents and RSS sympathisers staged a protest demonstration in Kishtwar hospital after the terror attack. Some incidents of stone pelting were also reported from some sensitive areas of Kishtwar.
As tension in the area was gradually mounting the District Magistrate, Angrez Singh Rana imposed curfew in Kishtwar town to contain law and order situation.
Army columns conducted flag marches in the sensitive areas to contain public anger. Additional security personnel were also deployed in the area to prevent any violence in the area.
RSS prant Sangh Chalak, Brig(Retd) Suchet Singh in a press statement said, “this terror attack is an attempt to silence the voices of nationalist community in the state of Jammu and Kashmir“.He appealed to the state government to identify and punish the killers responsible for this act of terror.
BJP targeted Congress-NC-PDP for encouraging terrorists?
Chief spokesman of the BJP in Jammu Sunil Sethi while condemning the act of terror leading to the death of RSS leader and his PSO also claimed that there are certain parties, who in the name of playing politics are ending up hitting National Interest and encouraging terrorists. He said when Congress party released its manifesto for 2019 Lok Sabha polls it gave an impression that they are going to strengthen the hands of anti-National forces in the state.
Sethi claimed it was due to the failure of the intelligence agencies such an attack happened in Kishtwar. He demanded high-level inquiry behind the terror attack.

I am sorry to write this, but Hindus are not safe anywhere. Kashmir is an extreme example where physical safety and lives are at risk.
In Kerala, Bengal, the story is similar. In other Indian states, many are not safe from forced conversions, and others have to shell out extra money and taxes (money in temples, money given for education….because they can not run their educational institutes or schools without state interference etc.) because they are Hindus.
Again, what a tragedy- and it was easyly executed despite security guard and that valued life was also lost.
Hit the terrorists hard- severely hard- such that they would not attempt another murder.
we react to tragedies like this; urge you to proact- we are losing valued lives- we have got to acknowledge that every life lost- civilian, paramilitary and military- one life or not.
lets demoralize the terrorists – they are infiltrating at will- what the hell are we doing to stop and seal it. how many lives can we endure?
what are we doing to stop infiltration- it seems to me that they are doing it at will? How?
the political rhetoric is not causing it- it is happening despite the rhetoric- and they are choosing targets at will.
and you have terrorists in our hinterland- forested areas- BJP prospect MP- killed with 3 para military personnel- another attack at will- despite military escort to infested area.
we don’t clear the infestation- hell why not?
after the murders- cry for elimination of MAOISTS- chinese supported terrorists. intelligence and military know the support network-
I believe there is greater threat to our nation from within than without.
I am not diminishing the external- border- threats;
this cancer must be surgically cut off- at every possible level.
