My Letter Series – Dear Media, Looking Weak Again; No, Not Far West But At India’s Neighbor

Published by

I have a small dog that, for some reason, has always wanted to attack and prove itself against big dogs. Unfortunately, it did try once and I had to rescue it from being mauled and hurt. I say this because I see a similar complex, the Napoleonic Complex, with India’s neighbor to the West. Unlike my dog, the neighbor has tried this FOUR times and has been badly mauled all 4 times. Given the mauling they’ve received, one would expect them to have learned a lesson and desist from these unadvised ventures. Alas, that’s not a trait they seem to have learned.

An India-centric policy is not advisable, but this shouldn’t be construed as negative. After all, this is one way of keeping an eye on the neighbor as well as any impending threats. However, this is now turning into a pathological obsession, which would require psychiatric help. The Prime Minister of the western neighbor definitely qualifies in that category. Obsessing about the goings-on in the neighboring country, while ignoring the goings-on within his own country is not good for the country nor for his political future, but who wants to tell him that?

Media, in the western neighbor, has for the most part been as upset as their PM and has taken to attempts at minor swipes at India. These high-schoolish attempts at proving their country’s superiority have really not worked.

Churchill said, “Success is about going from one failure to another without losing enthusiasm”. If one were to make sense of this, the neighboring country’s PM is very successful, since he has gone through so many failures that it is difficult to understand what success he has actually had in his political life! It is said, he was selected as the country’s PM by the military establishment. Over the past few years that he has been the Prime Minister, his favorite phrases, you hear them a few times every day, are “BJP”, “RSS” & “Why doesn’t Modi answer my call?”. One could be forgiven for smiling at this, after all this shows the level of political maturity of this person, but when one thinks about the protocol or the lack of, in this case, one shudders. Prime Ministers, especially of hostile nations, are not expected to call each other breaking protocol, but who’s to teach this to the PM to the neighboring country? Apparently, his knowledge of protocol has not matured beyond high school politics. Contrast this with the Indian PM’s enthusiasm about the development of India, his vision and you see a marked difference! Rarely does he say a word about the western neighbor!!!

While this has been playing out, to everyone’s amusement, what transpired after August 5, 2019 (the day articles 370 and 35A were abrogated) has been, to put it mildly, amusing. Starting with the PM of the neighboring country making statements that bordered on nuclear threats to those made by hooligans, this has been one of finding laughter intense situations, after all. One of his ministers, not surprisingly of Science & Technology, mentioned having nuclear devices weighing 250-500 GRAMS!! No kidding!!!

Making trips around the world, the neighboring Prime Minister has been looking for sympathetic shoulders to cry on; unfortunately, there’s not too many of those available. While he is looking for a shoulder to cry on, the PM of India seems to be on a high. He seems to have his share of detractors, but who doesn’t, but for the most part, he has the whole-hearted backing of over 1.25 Billion people. In addition, the support rolls in from countries around the world, that have indicated their unwillingness to support Pakistan’s stand in the United Nations. No wonder, when the PM of the western neighbor addressed the UN, not too many brows were raised.

Media, in the western neighbor, has for the most part been as upset as their PM and has taken to attempts at minor swipes at India. These high-schoolish attempts at proving their country’s superiority have really not worked. The economy is what makes a country run and definitely not an army. Unfortunately, this country’s PM has been making amateurish attempts and threats about being nuclear-armed which really haven’t garnered sympathy from countries around the world.

While this was being debated around in the Indian neighbor’s media, the European Union decided to pass a resolution asking that the GSP Plus status (not to be mistaken with what exists as a tax in India) be withdrawn from Pakistan.

And, so it came to be, that Saudi Arabia withdrew its support to the neighboring country and asked for its money back, causing the country to panic. While the country was still reeling under this shock, it was quickly followed by the UAE. The foreign minister ran to their trusted friend, China, to bail them out; China did but what troubled the neighboring country was that while they were grovelling for money from China, Saudi Arabia stopped shipping oil to the country; how are the army and airforce expected to run without oil/ petrol?

Recently, this neighbor got itself into YET ANOTHER pickle. An “Inteha Pasandi” (Extremist) party PTL asked that the French Ambassador be expelled from the country, as France had insulted their Prophet. While many Arab countries, where that religion had originated from, had expressed their displeasure at the French, none had actually asked for an Ambassador to be expelled. For those unaware of diplomatic protocol, expelling an Ambassador is about the same as severing diplomatic ties with a country, something this western neighbor of India can ILL-AFFORD to do.

While this was being debated around in the Indian neighbor’s media, the European Union decided to pass a resolution asking that the GSP Plus status (not to be mistaken with what exists as a tax in India) be withdrawn from Pakistan. This status was the ONLY reason their textile industry was earning approximately EU 7.5 billion for that impoverished NUCLEAR (they keep reminding the world about this) country. If this resolution, which passed in the EU Parliament, is implemented, the only “bread-winner in the family” will be out of a job! Any surprise, the neighboring PM is grovelling at the combined EU feet, while massaging the egos of this extremist party in his own backyard.

This is the current predicament that this country finds itself in! How it finds its way out of this is anyone’s guess. The Indian PM, in one of his lighter moments, had been asked what he thought of this neighbor’s future. His reply rings in my ears: “Usko chodo. Woh apni maut marega” (Leave them. They will die a painful death”). To this article, we’ll probably have another part, which would have an ending to this ongoing saga of a weak PM begging his own people to refrain from terror activities for his political survival.

जय श्रीराम। जय सीयाराम। उत्तिष्ठ भारत। जय माँ भारती

God bless the USA!

  • Our Western Nation PM Immi thanks to Nehru-Gandhi-Jinnah-Brits succeeded in departing with his wives and ranting against us! His country is already under the clutches of Dragon/China. His country's retired military men already took asylum in UK/Europe/USA.... and singularly contributed lakhs of terrorists of all varieties.

Further Immi is lucky to get FREE Covid vaccines manufactured in India from NaMo a prospective Noble peace Prize nominee!! India will never come out of too obsessive on our neighbor an obnoxious weed because it has been drilled deep into the Blood arteries, veins and veinlets.

We can overcome this torturous obsessiveness only if we allow Baluchistan Govt in Exile in our Country so as to enable us and the world talking about natural resources rich Baluch day in an day out and try to break neighboring rogue nation into three pieces!

Meanwhile knowing all these things immi already made our country rich in Moslim dominated (with pepper & salt Rohingyas with Indian ID cards )over 100 districts in our country and we saw this dangerous signals in 12 districts from the recently concluded elections in West Bengal! NaMo is another Gandhi under RSS stable having its think tank!

  • Pakistan would like to identify itself with Arabs and now with Turks but cannot help constantly comparing with India. This lack of Identity is one of the reason that the country is tearing itself apart. Its obsession with Kashmir seems to be the sole reason for the existence of its Army which consumes all the resources. This will eventually lead to bankruptcy and disintegration of the country.

  • Pakistan is not a threat to India but is an obsession to Indians. While not neglecting our defence capability, we need to become a prosperous country by unleashing entrepreneurship and innovation. Alas Modi didn’t not do anything in that direction with his tax terrorism in the form of Angel Tax and draconian GST compliance. He won his second term by playing Pakistan card but to win his third term he needs to, at least, undo the damage he has done. Indians will do well if they come out of their Pakistan obsession because it is a small and failed country, which doesn’t deserve so much attention negative or positive.

  • Why this simple fact not noticed by media and talked about loudly , How local in each nations are responsible for destruction of own roots and now middle-east africa and some part of asia is lost . People living on these lands do not act and behave like human .
