The Communists were the main opposition party in the 50s in Lok Sabha. They were respected across the country for their Probity in Public life. You could fault a Communist for his/ her ideology but you could never say that they were venal, in pursuit of filthy lucre (their words, not mine). But the Communist rule in West Bengal (and in coalition at the Center and different states) changed all that. As they got to enjoy the good things in life, they too became corrupt, just like their capitalist and socialist brethren. And this is where we find ourselves today, at a crossroads when the Left and the Socialists have combined to protect their turf by applying one set of rules for themselves and another for those across the aisle, the Right Wingers.

The selective outrage of the Left and the Liberals reached a feverish pitch over a concocted story about the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah’s son’s business volume. Shrill voices, sponsored by the Left, and the Liberal wing sponsored by Congress, were on rooftops screaming about the growth in size of Amit Shah’s son’s business volume. But the proverbial Cat has got their tongue, when the Communist Party of India – Marxist (CPI(M)) Politburo Member and Kerala State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan’s son was exposed for cheating and absconding from Dubai to the tune of Rs.13 crores.
Amit Shah’s son Jay Shah’s company was engaged in commodity trading and it is a given that the volume or turnover of such companies is usually high, but based on razor thin margins. Wrongly treating turnover as profit, the Left-Liberal propaganda website Wire went to town as if Amit Shah’s son had committed a huge crime and is now facing a defamation case for writing a factually incorrect article. Having been caught on a sticky wicket, they appear to be suffering from Writer’s Remorse and wondering why Jay Shah filed a defamation case.
Over to CPI(M) Politburo member’s son’s case. A Dubai based company called Jass Tourism complained to the CPI(M) leadership that the CPI (M) leader’s son Binoy had cheated them of Rs.13 crores and that it was forced to complain after the assurances of repayment by Balakrishnan were not being honoured. Now to the basic question: Why was a Dubai based tourism company engaged in chartering tourists to Kerala, entering into a business deal with the ruling party’s state secretary’s son’s firm? Because the father was at one time a Minister of Tourism! Whether it was a sinecure employment or otherwise is not important. The money has been transferred and the giver wants his money back.
Unlike Amit Shah, CPI(M) leader Kodiyeri Balakrishnan was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth. CPI(M)’s General Secretary Sitaram Yechury was screaming about Amit Shah’s son’s cooked up story in Wire. Now he too has gone into mute mode when his colleague’s son was exposed for fraud and cheating, and absconding from Dubai.
Another reason for the silence is interesting. Due to CPI(M)’s internal tussles, it was from the party’s Delhi Headquarters that the leak against the leader’s son happened. A Majority of the leaders from Kerala were against Yechury’s proposal to align with Congress and voted him out. Within days of the vote, the complaint filed by Dubai based businessman leaked in the media.
The Lutyen’s Left and Liberal media persons are now putting their heads down like Ostriches in the desert, waiting on their masters for the word “Jump”.

In the name of secularism the left and the congress and their coteries in media are up in arms against BJP and their daily routine is to spread lies this way or that way to embarrass the ruling party. The purpose for this collision is notably the sharing in the loot.

Ramachandran appears to be shaken for having his dear Left exposed. Can Ramachandran pursue legal steps against Amit Shah’s son? If what the WIRE, the left journalist missionaries, stated is true then they should go and sue Jayant as otherwise they would be faltering in their duty to the nation.
The truth is that those who wrote about Jayant did not know how to read the Financial of a Company. The less said the better about Left’s economic conundrums.
