Video clips of Kashmiri traitors assaulting our security forces, spitting on them and chanting anti-India and pro-Pak slogans to their faces make for extremely disturbing viewing.
What we are witnessing now in Kashmir is a full-blown proxy war by Islamabad. It’s time Modi recognised this ground reality and he gave a free hand to the army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Patrol (ITBP) and other security personnel to tackle the violence.
This is because the men in uniform represent State power and are at the foundation of our nation. And if that power is undermined and that too with impunity then it has serious implications for our survival as a nation.
The Modi govt has advised the armed forces to observe “restraint” in the hope that it will effect a change of heart among the jihadi youths. This is the utter naivete of the govt. In fact, it has emboldened the stone-pelting anti-national youth who are making easy targets of our soldiers. This is a matter of total disgrace for the entire nation. Our sovereignty is under severe threat… Our jawans are humiliated and we are doing zilch about it.
It’s high time Modi reviewed his policy and ordered a crackdown on the ungrateful stone-pelters. What we are witnessing now in Kashmir is a full-blown proxy war by Islamabad. I would any day prefer to see blood of the anti-nationals flow in the Valley rather than that of our soldiers. This nonsense has gone far too long. Its time to hit back at the proxies of Pakistan. When they don’t recognize the Indian state, they are not entitled to any of the freedoms guaranteed by the Indian Constitution.

Managing a nation is not as simple as this article suggests. People may get emotional and make mistakes, but the PM should not. There can be no room for ego while governing a nation.
Even Chanakya needhi says sama, dana, bheda and danda should all be used in the right measure at the right times. What we see in any political situation is only the tip of the iceberg. Modi and his team have more comprehensive info and are competent to take the right decisions, and we know he has the best of intentions; that’s why we have elected him. No one knows for sure, what’s right and what’s wrong, absolutely.
We’re watching a nation’s progress, not a T-20 cricket match. Even in a T-20 match, which is over in a few hours, the Captains don’t do what we want them to; they do what they feel is right thing to do in any given situation. Since the advent of TV debates, WE ALL have the urge to do backseat driving, be it cricket matches, or managing a nation.
Of course, making suggestions like in this article is fine, but let’s not despair finding that Modi doesn’t do exactly as we may believe he should. We are likely to be pleasantly surprised to find over time that Modi did more right things than wrong. But sure enough, let’s keep giving our suggestions, without giving the impression that we know more than the PM or the Govt.
Enough of such apologetics. I’ve seen them from ABV and MMS. Time for Modi to act now.
