Those behind the conspiracy will be brought to justice,” vows PM Modi after visiting blast victims
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, upon his return from Bhutan on Wednesday, went straight to Delhi’s Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital to meet the victims injured in the Red Fort blast. The Prime Minister interacted personally with the injured, enquiring about their health and wishing them a speedy recovery.
Hospital doctors and senior officials briefed him on the condition of the victims and the treatment being provided. Modi was seen speaking closely with both patients and medical staff, expressing empathy and solidarity with those affected.
Earlier in the day, while addressing an event in Thimphu, PM Modi had voiced deep sorrow over the tragedy. “A tragic incident took place in Delhi. I can understand the pain of the families who lost their loved ones,” he said. “I have come here with a heavy heart. The whole country stands with the affected families in this hour of grief. Our agencies will go to the bottom of the conspiracy. All those responsible will be brought to justice.”
Later, reiterating his resolve on social media, the Prime Minister said: “Went to LNJP Hospital and met those injured during the blast in Delhi. Praying for everyone’s quick recovery. Those behind the conspiracy will be brought to justice.”
To review the situation further, PM Modi is scheduled to chair a Cabinet Committee on Security meeting followed by a full cabinet meeting at 5:30 pm on Wednesday. These meetings will focus on the ongoing investigation, assessment of national security measures, and strategies to prevent such attacks in the future.
