Would ushering in the Uniform Civil Code now help in regularizing the new places of worship which seem to be sprouting everywhere without permissions? R Balakrishnan thinks so.
Uniform civil code is the need of the hour, some religions are like a roadblocks in development of india.
This is the most Ill informed, old fashioned, colonial, slavish view. If you haven’t got guts to use the prevailing law, a new law isn’t going to help.
