Rahul Gandhi inducts Robert Vadra’s business partner Sreenivasan as new AICC Secretary

It is becoming apparent that the Congress Party under Rahul Gandhi is not going to learn anything from the electoral drubbings.  The recent episode is the direct posting of one unknown person Sreenivasan Krishnan (Sreenivasan K) as the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretary and giving him the charge of Telangana State.  Who is this Sreenivasan? A few days after his appointment, media reports say that he was a former Doordarshan official and an Indian Information Service official etc. But what is the reality behind this move to get into Rahul Gandhi’s coterie?

So is Robert Vadra (read Priyanka) still in control of AICC affairs? The only possible answer for this question is a resounding YES.

Here is the answer – Sreenivasan, now known as Sreenivasan Krishnan (Krishnan is his father’s name) is from Kerala and Robert Vadra’s business partner, who served as Co-Director in many controversial Vadra firms. He was a Director in the aviation charter firm Blue Breeze Trading. This firm’s first directors were Robert Vadra and his wife Priyanka Vadra in 2008. But soon Priyanka resigned from the Directorship and Sreenivasan Krishnan replaced her as a Director in Vadra’s controversial firm. He was also a Director in other controversial firms of Vadra linked with real estate giant DLF partnerships too.

Sreenivasan Krishnan is/was also Director in many Vadra firms like Saket Holidays Resorts Private Ltd, Prowess Buildcon Pvt Ltd and Clevea Builders and Developers Pvt Ltd. Like his master Robert Vadra, Sreenivasan Krishnan has also done the joining-and-then-vanishing kinds of tricks from these companies during the controversies that came up during the anti-corruption movements in 2011 and 2012[1].

Sreenivasan Krishnan (54) is basically from Thrissur District of Kerala and landed in Delhi circles as a Personal Assistant to the former Kerala Chief Minister K. Karunakaran, who became a Union Cabinet Minister in 1995. He left Information Service in 1999 and was seen as an assistant in Sonia Gandhi’s secretarial team, which is mainly occupied by Keralites like Vincent George, Vijayachandran Pillai, Madhavan and former Special Protection Group (SPG) officer K B Byju. In the Congress circles, people say that Sreenivasan’s mentor is Madhavan who is handling the secretarial work of Priyanka Gandhi. Controversial Dubai based businessman C C Thampi, known as Kallu Thampi became a coterie member in the family’s business activities in Gulf sector due to the proximity with these secretarial staffers from Kerala. Now Thampi, who also has business deals with Robert Vadra, is in Enforcement Directorate’s radar for Rs.288 crores FEMA Violations[2].

It is known to all that Thampi is also close with the new AICC Secretary Sreenivasan and considered as a go-between with Vadra. Sreenivasan is also associated with Congress M P Shashi Tharoor and is also an office-bearer in Tharoor’s newly floated outfit Professional Congress.

Apart from Vadra firms Directorships, Sreenivasan also a Director of other real estate firms like Ashwin Enterprises, Sreejoh Realtors Private Limited. All these connections show that the new directly recruited AICC Secretary by Rahul Gandhi is a close operator of brother-in-law Robert Vadra’s real estate firms. So is Robert Vadra (read Priyanka) still in control of AICC affairs? The only possible answer for this question is a resounding YES. Why else would Rahul Gandhi induct his brother-in-law’s business partner as an AICC Secretary?

  6. Why Robert vadra still not arrested, before elections his wrong doings were so big and after 2014 elections, we are not hearing nothing about those scandals, is it a only a conspiracy by BJP to defame Gandhi family, or Modi govt., is unable to prosecute this person and his activities.

  8. Nothing strange – after all, INC is Sonia’s family Enterprise and AICC is merely a committee of that entity!
    Strange are we, the Indian citizens, who choose to give political power to this family Enterprise and believe that we are a democracy!!
