It would have been nice if the girl’s family was not a brahmin family and instead from another jati(caste) for a change. As the stereotype goes that brahmins are more worried about conversion. It is a problem across all walks of Hindu life. So it would get more credence from the naysayers if it was a non-brahmin family.
