Swamy expressed displeasure on law officers for delay in listing in SC Registry
BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Sunday expressed displeasure on Government’s law officers playing tricks in his cases by delaying listing in Supreme Court’s Registry. He said that instead of delaying the listing of his case, the Law Officers should concentrate on speeding up the listing to more than two years delayed cases in National Herald appeals by Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi against the Income Tax and Herald House eviction. He tweeted without naming Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who is very close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.
Government law officers who are interfering in SC registry and in listing offices to see my PILs are not listed, better that they ask Registry why National Herald cases filed by government e.g., on Herald House, NH income tax evasion cases,etc are not listed yet.

A few days ago Swamy lost his cool when his petition against the Places of Worship Act which was filed first was not listed and another petition of BJP leader Ashwani Upadhyay was listed. Swamy pointed out this unexplained delay and discrepancies in Registry and Listing offices of the apex court before the Chief Justice Justice of India S A Bobde. The apex court has issued notice to Central Government and tagged the petition along with Upadhyay’s petition. This case which will garner momentum for the restoration of Kashi Vishwanath and Mathura Shri Krishna Temples is a tense one for the BJP controlled Central Government[1].
Expressing his anger a few days ago, Swamy also tweeted that Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad must rein in the tricks of certain Law Officers who were behind delaying the listing of his petitions in the Supreme Court. Swamy also said that nowadays things are not in the hands of the Law Minister as Modi’s regime had changed protocols. This is learned to be apparent blame on Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who is the point man of Modi and Shah in legal matters.
The Union Law Minister must summon the Law officers to tell them to stop interfering with Registry and Listing Section of the Supreme Court. I know the Minister can since I had been Law Minister earlier. But protocol may have changed in Modi’s regime. Then he cannot.

In the National Herald case of tax evasion of more than Rs.414 crore, Sonia and Rahul had lost the case in all forums from Income Tax tribunals to Delhi High Court and they have approached Supreme Court against Income Tax. But for the past two years, this crucial case has not been listed. Similar is the case of the eviction of Herald House in Delhi. In all forums, the Congress leaders lost the case and this case is also pending in Supreme Court for the past two years.
Moreover, Subramanian Swamy’s three crucial cases are not yet listed in the Supreme Court for the past one year. One case is public interest litigation seeking guidelines from the Reserve Bank of India to control the mounting Non-Performing Assets (NPA) and huge loans disbursed to corporates. In his petition, Swamy has produced the Credit Suisse Report exposing more than Rs.12 lakh crore bad loans to major 10 Corporate Houses in India. A second case filed by Swamy, assisted by noted financial analyst and lawyer M R Venkatesh is seeking a probe on RBI officers in approving big loans which later turned out to be NPA and registration of cases for banking frauds. The third case of Swamy which is not yet listed is his appeal against the BJP-ruled Uttarakhand Government’s takeover of 51 temples including Kedarnath and Badrinath temples.

No Govt. worth its salt can tackle corruption for the simple reason that the black money that the political parties take for contesting elections is the quid pro quo for not taking action. Dr. Swamy is the lone crusader who is litigating on issues that concerns Hindus and also for the ‘Asmita’ of our nation. It is a request to Dr. Swamy to train public spirited young lawyers to take on the might of the establishment, politicians, business magnets, industrialists to check the increasing rot in every sphere of social activity.
Modi govt does not appear to be serious enough to deal with corruption as promised looking to the fact that the likes of Mallya, Nirav, Lalit, etc and Sonia, Rahul, Pawars, Mayawati, Mulayam, Akhilesh, etc. all well known for slight activities are unharmed as yet. I refuse to believe that the govt cannot do anything as the cases are sub judice. This is a big blot on the govt.
Modiji himself is clean but not doing enough or backing/standing by Swamiji’s efforts is another form of corruption just like how Dr MMS turned Nelson’s eye to the corrupt activities of some of his ministers and Soniya.
When pressure could be applied on Pak for releasing our pilot within a few days, why the same cannot be done with the UK? What is the use of building up good international relationship if it cannot work against countries like britain?
I feel that The relationship btw the politicians and corruption is like the umbilical chord, one cannot survive without the other.
It appears Modi-Shah duo is more corrupt and dangerous than Chidu, Pawar, Penguin put together

Delays are an indication indirect message to Dr.S.Swamy to shut up and retire! BJP is trying prove Kapil Sibal’s ZERO corruption theory! Slip of the tongue during 2014 election campaigns! Modi hi toh mumkin hai. Because deal seems to have been done with to wind up Congress-I also and cool retirement for Sonia and safe passage to her family members.
BJP is trying to defame Dr.Swamy.
The belief that BJP govt is no different from Khangress govt & india still a banana republic for anyone with money & political power can still do anything.
This Modi Govt has no mood to fix the corrupt fellows. Look at the delays in 2G appeal in Delhi HC. Why not speeding up National Herald case of Income Tax and Urban Ministry. Modi-Shah-Late Jaitley combination sabotages people mandate and engaging in deals with corrupt Pawar and frauds

I was informed many years ago that one had to apply grease on palms to get the case listed.
Any lawyer worth his salt will be in the know.
The Govt has taken over this role much to the chagrin of those earlier in control.
The Rougistrar acts as the initial enforcer.
Babus and bureaucrats listen only when it suits them; e.g. only when they themselves are in HOT Seat, e.g. in the middle of a man-made disaster, war at the frontiers, or natural calamities like floods, Tsunami, draught, failure of crops etc.
