The Subramanian Swamy vs Sonia Gandhi duel is an unending match. Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy on Saturday filed a complaint to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla accusing Congress President Sonia Gandhi of again adding the Cambridge University course claim in her educational qualifications in Lok Sabha’s Who is Who profile. Swamy urged the Speaker to refer this issue of again using fake Cambridge University claim by Sonia Gandhi for a probe by the Ethics Committee of the Parliament.
“I am enclosing with this letter a copy of Smt. Sonia Gandhi’s Bio profile for the 17th Lok Sabha “Who’s Who” publication of the Lok Sabha Secretariat. Therein once again, Ms. Sonia Gandhi has falsely stated that in 1965 she had obtained a certificate in English Language from the University of Cambridge.
Sonia was caught by Swamy in 2000 for making a fake claim of having a degree from Cambridge University. When she was exposed, the Congress leaders requested that she be excused and that it was a typographical error.
“More than 20 years ago, I had approached the Supreme Court on the falsity of this claim, and the matter was heard fully by the then Chief Justice Bench headed by Justice Balakrishnan. It was urged that she will not repeat submitting this false information again and that hence I should be “large-hearted” to permit disposing of the case without seeking punishment for a blatant lie. On this ground I agreed the case be so disposed of,” said Swamy in his petition to Speaker Birla.
Swamy pointed out that the filing by Sonia on the 15th and 16th Lok Sabha has differences excluding the false University Cambridge certificate course in the English Language. Swamy in his letter said he is ready to submit evidence before the Ethics Committee on Sonia Gandhi’s educational qualifications. The complaint of Subramanian Swamy is published below this article.

Sonia was caught by Swamy in 2000 for making a fake claim of having a degree from Cambridge University. When she was exposed, the Congress leaders requested that she be excused and that it was a typographical error. Actually Sonia has only primary school education in Italy and she landed a job in the town of Cambridge after obtaining a mandatory certificate of a two-months-course in English speaking. The Institute’s name she claimed was Lennox Cook School in Cambridge. This institute shut shop in 1967. But now, Sonia has fraudulently added Cambridge University to her name along with the local language certificate of Lennox Cook School.
First, the Allahabad High Court rejected Swamy’s petitions with a curious argument, saying he was not a voter from Sonia’s constituency and hence had no locus standi. But the Supreme Court agreed that Swamy has locus standi but urged him to show “large heart” as Sonia had already corrected her claims. That time, Pranab Mukherjee who conducted the press conference claimed that “Graduate from Cambridge University” was a typographical error that Swamy described as “World’s largest typing error[1].”

Why don’t you seek that information under ‘Right to Information’? Why not do something on your own instead of asking others to do your dirty work?
Mr Swamy, why only opposition leaders, what about Ur party and its leaders, can u prove the authenticity of our PM’s degree. He himself had admitted he is uneducated than all of a sudden aftr becoming PM he produced degrees that too in masters.
It’s a well known saying “before pointing one finger towards others realize the balance 4 fingers are pointing towards self.”
What stops the Congress from raising this issue in Parliament?
Indians are gullible ,on which sonia is playing
Why always Dr. Swamy to do all this ? Why this BJP MPs., MLA, Ministers, workers are sitting idle & doing nothing ?
Just keep hammering all Congress thieves and let them and party vanish soon.
But before vanishing expose them to the core so they will never think of returning to India thereafter.
Why was Justice Balakrishnan pleading for Sonia Gandhi?
Sonia is crook to the core. Only Swamy can deal her
