Events are moving quickly after the arrest of S P Tyagi in the AgustaWestland scam. Senior BJP leader Dr. Subramanian Swamy today wrote to the Acting Director, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on the possible role played by the then Secretary of Defense, Vijay Singh.
If you look at the picture below (from the Italian Court judgment on AgustaWestland) the list of people who were paid off, includes a mention DS in the bureaucracy. In a news item that appeared in Times Of India, Cyrus Mistry accused that Vijay Singh, a Director in Tata Sons played an active role in the Agusta Westland VVIP Chopper acquisition.
Here is a handwritten note exchanged between the middlemen on how the total commission of Euro 30 million between India’s political leaders, bureaucracy, and Air Force officials.
Dr. Swamy in his letter to the Acting Director CBI, urged him to look into the matter of how Ratan Tata appointed Vijay Singh to the board of Tata Trusts, which itself is illegal, he alleged.
