[dropcap color=”#008040″ boxed=”yes” boxed_radius=”8px” class=”” id=””]S[/dropcap]tepping up his attacks in the National Herald case, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy petitioned to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) Directors to register cases against Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders under Prevention of Corruption Act and Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). In his detailed letter, Swamy said that by illegally floating the private company Young Indian, Sonia and Rahul grabbed the land allotted to National Herald newspaper by the Urban Development Ministry (UDM) on lease.
Moreover, the first accused and prime conspirator Smt. Sonia Gandhi was holding Cabinet Rank as NAC Chairperson when the crime was allegedly committed in 2010-11,” said Swamy urging to book Sonia Gandhi under Prevention of Corruption Act in National Herald case.
Urging the two Directors to act against Sonia Gandhi in Prevention of Corruption Act, Swamy pointed out that during the scam period in December 2010, she was a public servant as she was holding the Cabinet Rank as the Chairperson of National Advisory Committee (NAC). The other accused, Rahul Gandhi, Motilal Vora and Oscar Fernandez were ruling party Members of Parliament (MP)s and abused power by grabbing the prime land allotted by the UDM for publication of National Herald newspaper.
“The land allotted in Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, where the Herald House stands allotted at concessional rates in this prime area by the Central Government, was exclusively for publication of newspaper and thus the act of the accused persons grabbing semi-public property, cheating, criminal breach of trust and forgery etc, not only are Indian Penal Code (IPC) offences the of which I am independently pursuing in the Magistrate Court in Patiala House in New Delhi, but it is clearly also offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act and PMLA,” said Swamy in his three page letter to the CBI and ED Directors.
Swamy accused the previous Directors of CBI and ED of hushing up his petition, even after trial court had found prima facie fraud and land grabbing and money laundering of Rs.90 crore involving the Congress party.

Here is my scenario – DrSwamy’s cases slowly wind and finally the fake gandu family gets a judgement which pushes them into tihar and the whole country realises the destruction caused by one family for this country.They take notice of DrSwamy in numbers.Around the same time, BJP party workers / public start realising that 56″ after all is a headline seeker, nothing much change has come into their lives especially the economy tanking and the border issues getting sticky..This pushes the party to seek a new leader ..jai ho.. why not DrSwamy?….We had PVN to bring in lasting positive changes,,now we are ready with DrSwamy for another.
even FBI is a caged parrot inspite of the US being strongest democacy…..in this kaliyug there are many evil curses haunting the society….govt aim and vision should be to identify the bigger evils and cure them — this is dharma…saga-raga may be smaller evils and giving them harsh punishment wont help in ridding other bigger evils…if small evils can be used as bargaining chip to make ways for solving bigger ones, why not use it!
If that Italian women had commited a crime against the people of India, there is no one to stop her from being arrested and book her and lock her up. Raise a FIR and bring her in front of a judiciary and if the crime is proved against her then sentence her to life imprisonment.
Unless and until A.J Sakuni is divested of the Finance and Defense ministry I am afraid Modiji will loose his battle to save our Motherland.
BJP leaders cannot/will not/should not take any action against Gandhis which is a known fact from Vajpayee time due to a secret/tacit agreement between and it is a matter that cannot be disclosed in finer details to public as it is also linked to national security/office of secrecy imho.
Two such ocassions to take legal action by BJP Govt under Vajpayee was purposefully/willingly not used (forex in cash@a busy US airport,Bofors accused let off in Malaysian airpory). This has been told by none other than Swamy himself openly in public domain. i am not saying this but as per Swamy’s own words in few videos of him..
So why do you expect Modi Govt to act now as it would cause major implosion,embarrassment to BJP as a party even to its parent organization RSS i was told once .
Even if they do act it would only be a cover up/make believe drama(lessened penalty,full privs to accused etc) timed well just happening closer to 2019 elections
Will Bjp big bosses allow it?
CBI – caged parrot earlier was Congress Bureau of Investigation . Post 2014 the caged parrot has also become Communal Bureau of Investigation going on its selective witch hunt esp more so against non-BJP states like TN etc.
Moral of the story these caged parrots need political clearance which they would never get esp in above case right from Vajpayee time.
