These are the best of times to live in

As Abrahamics are desperately trying to destroy them, all our festivals are going Pan-Indian

Abrahamics are trying the same trick with Hindus, but Hindu festivals instead of dying are only becoming even more popular.
Abrahamics are trying the same trick with Hindus, but Hindu festivals instead of dying are only becoming even more popular.

1. As much as business travellers, pilgrims are fuelling the growth of air travel in India. Airports close to temple towns are full of Hindu pilgrims every day. This signifies that not only तीर्थ यात्रा is alive and well, but also that the segment of Hindus not secularised by the Convent education now has enough money to spend on air travel for pilgrimage.

2. Abrahamics destroyed two great polytheists and moortipujak Civilisations-Greek and Roman-by destroying their festivals. They are trying the same trick with Hindus, but Hindu festivals instead of dying are only becoming even more popular. Hindus all over the subcontinent worship all and same Gods, but each region also has a Prime Deity, and a festival dedicated to it: Ramleela in UP, Garba in Gujarat, Ganesh Chaturthi in Maharashtra, Onam in Kerala, Pongal in Tamil Nadu, छठ in Bihar, Durga Puja in West Bengal, रजो festival and Rathyatra in Odisha, Bihu in Assam, and so on. But as Abrahamics are desperately trying to destroy them, all our festivals are going Pan-Indian.

3. At most of the times, our kings ruled areas overlapping many of our linguistic regions, but they never tried to impose any one language. We must respect this policy of our great and wise ancestors. Each state must do everything-education, administration, recruitment at all levels only in its own language. For all India services, we may draw from these personnels only in the population ratios. As for communication among these different linguistic regions, one, we all know even now the languages we need to know, and two, the device Modi and Bear Grylls used to communicate with each other through each speaking a different language can and should become available to all of us, like mobiles, burying all the linguistic chauvinists once and forever.

4. And, voices of the Free Market fundamentalists seem to have started reaching the ears of the government.

  1. Tamil Nadu too prides itself with Vinayaka Chaturthi for Lord Vinayaka (Very Popular among the Chettinadu, celebrated across TamilNadu) ‘Soora Samharam’, Thai Poosam, Vaikasi Visaakam, … for Lord Murugan, ( Almost across Tamil Nadu), Marghazi Thriuvaadarai, Maasi Sivarathri, Karthigai Deepam for Lord Siva and ‘Aadi Velli’, Navarathri, … fro Goddess Gouri. Vaikunda Ekathasi, Ramanavami, Gokulashtami, … for Lord Vishnu
and Panguni or Maasi Brahmothsavam in temples across Tamilnadu including a ‘Ther/Car’ Festival.
There are also other festivals for the society like ‘Thai Pogal’ for Harvest festival,

  2. Hmm… Good to know…
Every Hindu festival is a joy to celebrate and this has to be passed on to the future generations..
I get to hear that the Tamilnadu government plans to conduct classes for schools during Pooja holidays…(quarterly exam holidays)
Will it attempt to do the same thing during December — christmas too? ( Half yearly holidays)
Missionaries try their best to influence all ruling parties in all states to curb celebrating Hindu festivals…
They spread a lot of go green, no crackers , no car festivals etc….
Hindus should unite n work to preserve our culture and tradition…

    • How would the society look like when casteism is totally eradicated? Can the western society provide a working model?

The divisions in the west might turn out to be worse than what we imagined.

    • I think castes are not ugly. Caste discrimination is the problem. Caste influences food habits, persona etc. Someone focused on ruling became tough, aggressive, physically strong, develops the attitude of paying back in same coin.
Some one else who is more into studies, optimized his food habits to have less stress on body while he may not do much physical work. He also considered that respect is earned while previous guy might believe that respect is enforced.
All mindsets are required for a functioning society.

      • The judgement on caste is for the society to make. Not for me. Still, before you throw a broken TV that still shows a picture, make sure you have got a new lined up to show some picture.
