తిరుమల, తిరుపతి లో కొనసాగుతున్న ఆర్ధిక దోపిడీ - సామాన్యుడికి స్వామిని దూరం చేస్తున్న రాజకీయ వర్గాలు
కోట్ల మంది హిందువుల కలియుగ ఆరాధ్య దైవమైన శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వర స్వామి సాక్షిగా తిరుమల వైభవం పతన దిశగా ప్రయాణం మొదలు పెట్టింది. పాలకుల దురాశ, నిర్లక్ష్యం, తిరుమల ఆలయానికి సంబంధించిన సంపదపై పట్టు పెంచుకునే క్రమంలో రాజకీయనాయకులు తిరుమల పవిత్రతను దెబ్బతీయడానికి వెనుకాడటం లేదు. గత ప్రభుత్వం క్రైస్తవ మద్దతుదారుడైన పుట్టా సుధాకర్ యాదవ్ ను టిటిడీ చైర్మన్ గా చేస్తే, ప్రస్తుత ప్రభుత్వ ముఖ్యమంత్రి క్రైస్తవ మతానికి చెందిన వై. ఎస్ జగన్ రెడ్డి, తన బాబాయి వై. వీ. సుబ్బా రెడ్డిని చైర్మన్ గా నియమిస్తూ ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేసారు. ఈయన కూడా క్రైస్తవుడని సోషల్ మీడియాలో పెద్ద దుమారం చెలరేగింది.
ప్రస్తుతపు ముఖ్యమంత్రి వై. ఎస్. జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి గారు ప్రజలకు అనేక రకాల ఆర్ధిక తాయిలాలు ప్రకటించారు. ఆంధ్రా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ ఖజానాలో డబ్బులు లేవన్న విషయం అందరికీ తెలిసిందే. ఈ సమయంలో తిరుమల సంపదను వాడుకునే అవకాశాలు కనపడుతున్నాయి. ఈ నేపధ్యంలో తన బాబాయిని టిటిడి చైర్మన్ గా నియమించడం ఈ ప్రక్రియలో భాగం అనే అనుమానాలు ప్రజలకు కలుగుతున్నాయి. గతంలో చంద్రబాబు ప్రభుత్వం కూడా ఇలాంటి పని చేసినట్లు వార్తలు వెలువడ్డాయి[1]. హిందువుల పండగలప్పుడు బస్సు చార్జీలు పెంచడం ద్వారా, పేద హిందువుల వద్ద నుండి కూడా అనేక రకాల టాక్స్ లు ముక్కు పిండి వసూలు చేసే ఈ సెక్యులర్ ప్రభుత్వాలు ఆ డబ్బులు సరిపోక గుళ్ళ మీద కూడా పడ్డారు.
ఏ రాజకీయ పార్టీ అయినా ఎన్నికల తరువాత మెజారిటీ సాధించి అధికారంలోకి రాగానే ఠంచనుగా చేసే పని తిరుమల దేవస్థానం ఆలయ కమిటీ అధ్యక్షుడు, సభ్యులను నియమించటం. వాస్తవానికి ఈ నియామకాలు వైష్ణవ మతాచార్యులు, ఆధ్యాత్మిక వేత్తలు, పండితులు, ధార్మిక ప్రచారకర్తలు, పూజారులతో పూరించాలి. కాని ప్రస్తుత ట్రెండ్ ప్రకారం అధికార పార్టీ అనుయాయులను, ఎన్నికల్లో ఓడిపోయిన నాయకులను, ఎన్నికల్లో టికెట్ దక్కనివారిని నియమిస్తున్నారు. వీరు కూడా తమ పార్టీ నాయకుల బాటలోనే పయనిస్తూ తమ అనుచరులతో, అనర్హులతో దేవస్థానంలో ఉన్న ఖాళీలు నింపేస్తూ నిబంధనలకు, వైదిక పద్ధతులకు, ఆచారాలకు, శాస్త్రాలకు నీళ్లు వదులుతున్నారు.
తిరుమల నిధుల పై అభియోగాలు
హిందువుల ఆరోపణలు, ఆక్షేపణలు పట్టించుకోకుండా ఆంధ్ర సెక్యులర్ ప్రభుత్వం తాను అనుకున్నదే చేసుకుపోతోంది. ఆంధ్రాలో కుల రాజకీయాల పరంపర కొన్ని వందల సంవత్సరాలుగా కొనసాగుతోంది. ఏ కులం వారైనా అధికారంలోకి రాగానే తమ కులంలో తమ విధేయులకు అర్హత ఉన్నా లేకున్నా కీలక పదవులలో నియమిస్తున్నారు. ఇది పాలన యంత్రాంగానికి పరిమితమైతే పోనీ లే అనుకోవచ్చు. కానీ గత కొన్ని దశాబ్దాలుగా ఈ పరంపర ఆధ్యాత్మిక రంగానికి కూడా పాకింది. ఆంధ్రాలో ఆధ్యాత్మిక రంగంలో ప్రభుత్వ జోక్యం జస్టిస్ చల్లా కొండయ్య కమిషన్ తరువాత విపరీతమైంది అనేది అందరికి తెలిసిన విషయం.
బయట ప్రపంచానికి తెలియకుండా తిరుమలలో ఒక చిన్న వ్యాపార ప్రపంచమే ఉంది.
వేల కోట్ల రూపాయల సంపద కలిగిన తిరుమలను తమ ఆధీనం లో ఉంచుకుంటే డబ్బుకు కొరవే ఉండదని, ఆర్థిక పరంగా సేఫ్ గా ఉంటామని, తిరుమల హుండీ తమ పాలిట కామ ధేనువని రాజకీయనాయకులు భావిస్తూ ఉంటారు.
వై. ఎస్ జగన్ క్రైస్తవుడన్న విషయం జగద్విదితం. వై. ఎస్. రాజశేఖర రెడ్డి హయాంలో తిరుమల కొండలని 7 నుండి 2 కు తగ్గించే ప్రయత్నం జరిగింది. ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా ప్రజల నుండి తీవ్ర వ్యతిరేకత ఎదురయ్యేటప్పటికి [2] నష్ట నివారణ కోసం ఏడుకొండలు తిరుమలవే అని హడావుడిగా జి. ఓ పాస్ చేసారు, ఈ జి. ఓ లో తిరుమల క్రీస్తు పుట్టే సమయానికి ఉండేదని పేర్కొంటూ క్రీస్తు గురించి ఉదహరించడం గమనార్హం. ఆయన హయాంలో తిరుమల కోనేటిలో నిధులు తవ్వి 108 అంబులెన్సు లో తరలించారనే పుకారు వ్యాప్తిలో ఉంది. ఈయన పాలనలో ఎంతో మంది క్రైస్తవ ఎవాంజెలిస్ట్లు తిరుమలలో క్రైస్తవ మత ప్రచారానికి పాల్పడ్డారు [3]. ఇంతే కాక అనేకమంది క్రైస్తవులకు టిటిడి లో ఉద్యోగాలిచ్చారనే ఆరోపణలున్నాయి. 2012 లో రాడార్ స్కానర్లు ఉపయోగించి తిరుమల నిర్మాణాల కింద కూడా స్కానింగ్ చేశారనే వార్తలు గతం లో వెలువడ్డాయి[4]. ఇది గుడి నిర్మాణాల పరిశీలన కోసం అని ఎంత బుకాయించినా, ఈ స్కానర్ల ద్వారా భూమి కింద ఉన్నవి అన్ని (నిధులతో సహా) పరిశీలించే అవకాశం ఉంది.
చంద్ర బాబు హయాంలో నిధుల తవ్వకాలు జరిగాయని సాక్షాత్తూ అక్కడి ప్రధానార్చకుడే ఆరోపించారు. 2018లో ఎందరు వ్యతిరేకించినా ఆగకుండా మహా సంప్రోక్షణ పేరుతో నిధుల తవ్వకాలు జరిపారనే అనుమానాలున్నాయి. 2019 ఎన్నికల సమయంలో దొరికిన 1400 కేజీల బంగారం మరిన్ని అనుమానాలకు తావిస్తోంది[5].
బయట ప్రపంచానికి తెలియకుండా తిరుమలలో ఒక చిన్న వ్యాపార ప్రపంచమే ఉంది. వీరు తిరుమలలో వెంకన్నను అడ్డం పెట్టుకొని ప్రతి సంవత్సరం వేల కోట్ల రూపాయల వ్యాపారం చేస్తారు. ఇక్కడ హుండీలో భక్తులు వేసే బంగారంలో దాదాపు 60 % తరుగు చూపిస్తున్నారని ఆరోపణలున్నాయి. భక్తులు వేసే నగలలో ఉన్న వజ్రాలకు, రత్నాలకు, మరియు విలువైన రాళ్ళకు లెక్క చూపించడం లేదు. ఈ ఆరోపణలకు తగినట్లే అనేక సంవత్సరాలుగా తిరుమలలో నిత్యం హుండీ ఆదాయం మాత్రమే వెల్లడి చేస్తారు, బంగారపు వివరాలు బయట పెట్టరు. తిరుమల వెంకన్నకు చెందిన బంగారు ఆభరణాలను నకిలీలతో మార్చుతున్నారనే వార్తలు గతంలో వెలువడ్డాయి[6]
తిరుమల వి ఐ పి దర్శనానికి, సేవలకు ఇవ్వబడే కోటాను అనేకమంది అమ్ముకుంటారనే ఆరోపణ ఉంది. ఇంతే కాకుండా తిరుమలలో వచ్చే డబ్బు కేవలం రికార్డులలో మాత్రమే ఉంటుందని, అంటే తిరుమల అకౌంట్స్ అధికారులు, బ్యాంకు అధికారులు, రాజకీయనాయకులు కలిసి తిరుమల ధనాన్ని తమ స్వలాభాల కోసం వాడుకుంటున్నారనేది ఒక అభియోగం. ఏదన్నా ఆడిట్ జరిగే సమయంలో ఎదో ఒకటి చేసి బ్యాంకు లో ధనాన్ని చూపిస్తారు. మిగతా సమయాలలో ఈ డబ్బు బయట తిరుగుతూ ఈ అవినీతి కూటమికి లాభం చేకూరుస్తూ ఉంటుంది అనే ఆరోపణ ఉన్నది.
తిరుమలలో భగవంతుడికి సమర్పించే భూమి కూడా అక్రమార్కుల హస్తగతమవుతోంది అనే ఆరోపణ కూడా ఉన్నది. హిందువుల గుడులకు సంబంధించిన భూములు కొన్ని వేల ఎకరాలు గల్లంతయ్యాయి. భారత దేశంలో చర్చ్ దగ్గర ఉన్నంత భూమి ప్రభుత్వం దగ్గర కూడా లేదు. బ్రిటిష్ వారు చర్చ్ లకు లీజ్ పై ఇచ్చిన భూముల లీజ్ సమయం అయిపోయినా, ప్రస్తుత ప్రభుత్వాలు వారిని తాకే ధైర్యం చేయరు. తిరుమల ధనాన్నిప్రభుత్వ కామన్ గుడ్ ఫండ్స్ కు తరలించి[7] ఆ డబ్బుతో క్రైస్తవులకు, ముస్లిములకు తాయిలాలిస్తున్నారు. హిందువులను విపరీతంగా దోచుకుంటున్న ఈ సెక్యులర్ ప్రభుత్వాలు క్రైస్తవ, ముస్లిం మతాలకు విదేశాల నుండి వచ్చే వేల కోట్లలో ఎన్ని అవకతవకలు జరిగినా పట్టించుకునే సాహసం మాత్రం చేయరు.
హిందూ దేవాలయాలు ఆధ్యాత్మిక కేంద్రాలే కాదు, అవి సాంస్కృతిక కేంద్రాలు మరియు హిందూ విద్య నేర్పించబడే స్థలాలు.
ఒక సామాన్య భక్తుడు చెమటోడ్చి అతి కష్టం మీద సంపాదించిన డబ్బును భక్తి తో ముడుపుగా వెంకన్నకు ఇస్తే ,ఆ సొత్తును బాధ్యతారహితంగా దుర్వినియోగం చేయడానికి ఈ సెక్యులర్ ప్రభుత్వం ఏ మాత్రం వెనుకాడటం లేదు. ఎంతో మందికి ఈ విషయం తెలిసినా తమకు తెలియనట్లు చూసి చూడనట్లు వ్యవహరిస్తున్నారు. భక్తుల పాలిట కొంగు బంగారంగా విలసిల్లే తిరుమలకు వెంకన్నను దర్శించుకునేందుకు సాలీనా కోట్లాది మంది భక్తులు వస్తారు. వీరి ద్వారా టికెట్, ప్రసాదాలు, ఇతర అమ్మకాలు, హుండీ ఆదాయం, విరాళాలు మరియు వీరు చేసే ఇతర ఖర్చుల ద్వారా వేలాది కోట్ల రూపాయల ఆదాయం దేవస్థానం ద్వారా ప్రభుత్వ ఖజానాకు చేరుతున్నది. ఈ ఆదాయానికి సక్రమంగా జమ ఖర్చుల లెక్క, ఆడిట్ చేయకపోవటం ప్రభుత్వ లోపాయకారితనానికి నిదర్శనం.
హిందూ దేవాలయాలు ఆధ్యాత్మిక కేంద్రాలే కాదు, అవి సాంస్కృతిక కేంద్రాలు మరియు హిందూ విద్య నేర్పించబడే స్థలాలు. పూర్వ కాలంలో గుడులలో అందరికీ విద్య ఉచితంగా నేర్పే వారు[8] నేడు ఇక్కడ కేవలం ఆధ్యాత్మికత పేరుతో వ్యాపారం జరుగుతోంది. ఈ దేవాలయాల మీద వచ్చే ఆదాయంతో వేద పాఠశాలలు నిర్వహించాలి, జీర్ణమైన దేవాలయాలను ఉద్దరించాలి, హిందూ ధర్మ ప్రచారం చేయడంతో పాటూ పేదవారికి ఉపయోగపడేలా అనేక సదుపాయాలను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలి. ప్రస్తుతం ఇవన్నీ కేవలం నామ మాత్రంగా జరుగుతున్నాయి. తిరుమలలో వచ్చే డబ్బు రాజకీయనాయకుల, ప్రభుత్వాధికారుల సదుపాయాలకు విలాసాలకు ఉపయోగించబడుతుంది. ఇంతా చేస్తే వీరేమన్న ఊడబొడుస్తున్నారా అంటే అదీ లేదు, సామాన్య భక్తులను పక్కన పెట్టి వి.ఐ.పి సేవలో తరించడానికి ఉవ్విళ్ళూరుతారు. అతి విలువైన పేద ప్రజల సంపదను దుర్వినియోగం చేస్తున్నారు.
ఈ నిధుల దుర్వినియోగం కేవలం తిరుమలతో ఆగటం లేదు, శ్రీశైల మల్లిఖార్జునిడికి కూడా ఈ అవినీతి ఇక్కట్లు తప్పలేదు.
హిందూ సమాజంలో ఉన్న అనేకమంది సాధువులు వేల సంవత్సరాలుగా కఠిన తరమైన సాధన చేస్తూ ఆధ్యాత్మికతే పరమావధిగా జీవనం గడుపుతున్నారు. వీరు భారతదేశానికిచ్చిన విజ్ఞాన సంపద అమూల్యమైనది. ఇంతటి కఠిన సాధన, నిబంధనలు వేరే ఏ మతాలలో పాటించరు. ఇలాంటి సాధనతో ప్రజలకు నిస్వార్ధంగా సేవ చేస్తున్న శ్రీ చిన్న జీయర్ స్వామి, శ్రీ విజయేంద్ర సరస్వతి స్వామి, శ్రీ విధుశేఖర భారతి మహాస్వామి వంటి పీఠాధిపతులను పక్కకు పెట్టి, కేవలం డబ్బు, స్వార్ధం, అధికారమే ప్రధాన ధ్యేయంగా ఉన్న ఈ రాజకీయనాయకులు తీసుకునే నిర్ణయాల వల్ల హిందూ ఆధ్యాత్మిక క్షేత్రాలకు, పద్ధతులకు, ఆచారాలకు తీరని నష్టం వాటిల్లుతోంది. వీరి అవగాహన రాహిత్యం, అలసత్వం వల్ల భవిష్యత్ తరాలకు చేరాల్సిన ఆధ్యాత్మిక విద్య కలుషితమై పోతోంది. ఈ రాజకీయ నాయకులు, అధికారులు ఆధ్యాత్మిక విషయాలపై, శాస్త్రాలపై పట్టు లేకుండా తీసుకుంటున్న నిర్ణయాలు అధికారం పీఠంలో కూర్చున్న వారికి లబ్ది చేకూర్చేలాగానే ఉన్నాయే తప్ప వీటివల్ల నిజానికి హిందూ సమాజానికి, మరియు పేద హిందువులకు ఏ రకమైన ఉపయోగం లేదు. హిందూ ధర్మ ప్రచారానికి పాటుపడాల్సిన నిధులు వక్ర మార్గం పట్టి రాజకీయ నాయకుల మరియు అధికారుల విలాసాలకు, భోగాలకు పరిమితమవుతున్నాయి.
పదవులు, అధికారాలు అర్హులకు, సామర్ధ్యం కలిగిన వారికి కట్టబెడితే సమాజం అభివృద్ధి పథంలో పురోగమిస్తుంది. ఇలా కేవలం బంధు ప్రీతితో, లాభా పేక్షతో, అధికార గర్వంతో లేదా స్వార్ధం తో ఎవరికి పడితే వారికి హిందూ ఆధ్యాత్మిక క్షేత్రపు పాలనా పగ్గాలివ్వడం ఎంత వరకు సమంజసం? 800 సంవత్సరాల పరాయి పాలనలో బానిసత్వంలో మగ్గిన రోజులలో కూడా ఆ పరాయి పాలకులు తిరుమల వైపు కన్నెత్తి చూసే సాహసం చేయలేకపోయారు. నేడు సెక్యులర్ ముసుగులో ఉన్న ఆంధ్రా క్రైస్తవ, సెక్యులర్ పాలకులు హిందూ ఆధ్యాత్మిక క్షేత్రాలలో తమ ప్రాబల్యం పెంచుకోడానికి, క్షేత్రాల పవిత్రతను భగ్నం చేయడానికీ ఏ మాత్రం వెనుకాడటం లేదు.
ఈ నిధుల దుర్వినియోగం కేవలం తిరుమలతో ఆగటం లేదు, శ్రీశైల మల్లిఖార్జునిడికి కూడా ఈ అవినీతి ఇక్కట్లు తప్పలేదు. ప్రభుత్వ దేవాదాయ శాఖ అంతా అవినీతిమయమని, అవినీతి నిరోధక శాఖకు దొరికిన అవినీతి తిమింగలాలను చూస్తే అర్థమవుతుంది[9][10]. అనేక శతాబ్దాల పరాయి పాలనలో నాశనం గావించబడిన హిందూ విద్యా వ్యవస్థను పునరుద్దరించే మహత్తర అవకాశాన్ని పాలకుల అవివేకం, స్వార్ధం వల్ల పోగొట్టుకుంటున్నాము. టిటిడీ వద్ద ఉన్న ఆర్ధిక వనరులతో వేదాలలో దాగి ఉన్న రహస్యాలను వెలికి తీసి పేద వారికి ఉపయోగ పడేలా చేయవచ్చు కానీ ఇవేవీ జరగడం లేదు.
బాహాటంగా ఇతర మతాలను పాటిస్తూ, వారికి మద్దతు పలుకుతున్న ఈ క్రైస్తవ పాలకులకు హిందూ దేవాలయ నిర్వహణలో వేలు పెట్టడం అనైతికం కాదా? రాజకీయాలలో విలువల గురించి మాట్లాడే వీరు హిందూ దేవాలయాల పట్ల పాటిస్తున్న విలువలు ఇవేనా? వ్యాపారం లో, రాజకీయంలో “కాంఫ్లిక్ట్ అఫ్ ఇంట్రస్ట్” చూసే వీరు, అదే సూత్రం ఆధ్యాత్మిక రంగంలో ఎందుకు ఉపయోగించడం లేదు? బ్రిటిష్ వారిపై స్వయం పాలన కోసం పోరాడిన హిందువులు నేడు ఈ సెక్యులర్ ప్రభుత్వాలపై దేవాలయాల స్వయం పాలన కోసం పోరాడాలి.
ఈ సమస్యలన్నింటికీ విరుగుడు ఉపాయం ఇకపై ఆలయ పాలనలో ప్రభుత్వ పర్యవేక్షణ నామమాత్రంగా ఉండి, ఆలయ నిర్వహణ పూర్తిగా రాజకీయేతరులతో నిస్వార్ధంగా సేవ చేస్తూ కఠిన జీవిత శైలిని పాటిస్తున్న, వివాద రహితులైన హిందూ ఆధ్యాత్మిక వేత్తలతో ఏర్పాటు చేయాలి. ప్రస్తుత పరిస్థితిని తప్పకుండా సరి చేయాల్సిన అవసరం ఉంది. హిందూ ఆధ్యాత్మిక క్షేత్రాల నిర్వహణ వివాద రహిత, నిష్ఠా గరిష్ఠులైన హిందూ మతాచార్యుల చేతే జరిపించాలి. ఇది జరుగక పోతే రాబోయే కాలంలో తిరుమల పవిత్రత మంటగలుస్తుంది అది అంతటితో ఆగక హిందూ ఆధ్యాత్మిక వ్యవస్థ పతనానికి దారి తీస్తుంది. అదే జరిగితే ప్రపంచానికి దారి చూపిస్తున్న భారత వైదిక జాతి; ఇకముందు తన దారి తప్పే అవకాశాలు పుష్కలంగా కనపడుతున్నాయి

Soon after taking oath as AP State CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy instead of appointing his closest relative YS Subba Reddy as Chairman/EO of TTD, he have had a good opportunity to appoint someone from a Srivaishnava cult swami ji as Chairman/EO of TTD along with board of trustees as stipulated pious learned men and women knowing Divine Origins of Tirumala Tirupati on holy seven hills and having rudimentary knowledge in Agamashastras.
Its unfortunate that appointments have been politicized and bureaucratized and corrupt practices have been going on without financial audits. Politicians of all hues do not have guts to bring churches and mosques under the Endowments Department/Ministry. It's unpardonable that liquor barons too have become TTD board members! Gold and jewelry have been stolen or replace with duplicate ones! Land grabbing is common! Hundi collection is reported while donations are not reported. If anybody donates lump-sum amount for daily free meals scheme,donors may not get receipt / tax break certificates. I too suffered!!
Very recently, I came across old vedic pathashalas/gurukulas/temples have been closed or nearly on the verge of closure and thousands of temples in this country were ruined or vanished and four vedas learning school kids still facing problems having one meal a day for want of just funds!! For instance, six months ago I came to know that in Melukote village, Mandya district 140 kms from Bangalore is also bestowed with oldest vedic school known as south Indian Nalanda faced closure but someone used internet technology to raise funds through "crowd funding" and shored up financial resources up to Rs.26 lakhs. Alas,it was reported that Karnataka CMs' film star son spent Rs.300 crores to win LS election in May 2019 from the same constituency in the said district!!
I found, practice of privileged imported VVIP politicians for instance Italian born Sonia Gandhi refuses to sign in a temple register !!! Is it arrogance or what or disrespecting Lord Balaji mischievously? Unfortunately temple funds are wasted to present such VVIPs and other VIPs with costly angavastrams and good quantity of prasadams!! AP state and Telangana "joint Governor" - for 10 years now- visits regularly and from this we can understand how BJP lead NDA government works!!
Really, Nehru Gandhi dynasty 'Secularism" has totally decimated majority Hindu community but till certain Hindus religiously vote for Congress-I. BJP is a lesser evil but it's leadership looks the other way due to lack of commitment on Temples, its preservation and cleanliness, rich heritage, culture, traditions and customs and do not desire to bring us back to glory!! Shamelessly all leaders of all political parties visit Tirumala at the drop of a hat!
I humbly feel that instead of pointing fingers at CM Jagan, it is better to form a small eminent religious group and meet him and suggest him to depoliticize temple administration and appoint someone from a Srivaishnava cult swami ji as Chairman/EO of TTD.
This is good move by Govt Of AP.
I hope the temple will eradicate the corruption going on in all cadres.
The staff mostly not believe GOD is there in the temple consequently, they take money in front of God from General Public.
Why are these political leaders always meddling in the matters of only Hindu temples and Dharmabshetras? How come these so called leaders from YSR to Naidu to Y S Jagan decide to appoint non-hindus for the TTD top post? Will they appoint a Hindu for the post of chairman of Wakf board and a Muslim as head of a Church? They don't dare to, right? If we ask this question, we are suddenly labelled as 'non-secular' and 'fanatic Hindu fundamentalists'....
At least now, Jagan must wake up and change the pattern....
It is high time, Jagan Mohan Reddy MUST change the pattern, by handing over the administration of all Hindu temples to religious bodies like the Srigeri Sankara mutt, China Jeeyar swami, Chinmaya mission and the like... And strictly stop appointment of any non-hindus into ANY posts of these temples and also any endowment related posts in the government also.....ONLY then the Hindus will regard him....else, the Hindus know how to topple these leaders at the earliest opportunity.
Also, there is a lot of evidence that Lord Venkateswara will punish such leaders....we have seen many evidences in the recent past... Did the leaders learn? Or should the Lord of Seven Hills show them once again?
Y V Subba Reddy is a very very devout Hindu. He even has a cow (Kapila Govu) at his home. So the propaganda that he is a Christian was orchestrated by Chandra Babu Naidu who is a sour loser in elections. In fact he appointed an atheist as TTD chairman who preceded Subba Reddy. I am not going into politicisation of TTD but just clarifying a fact with regard to religion of Subba Reddy.

Dear Hindu, If Mr.YVSubba Reddy, is a Hindu, it is fine for every Hindu, and good also, but the article is about how the politicians are looting temple funds, first Mughals second Britishers now the so-called politicians, TTD became a rehabilitation center for the ruling party, simple example what was the necessity for Mrs.Sudha Murthy, to resign from Board? and she was also appointed by the previous govt.,(to save themselfs from public outcry) in the place corrupt Sekhar, and why present govt., not called her again?, if the political will is clean they can appoint board members like Mrs.Sudha Muthy, Mr.Anand Mahindra, and retired Non-corrupt officers like TN Sheshan and not politicians, and above this, if you go through the board you find all the appointments to the board based on caste equation only, in the previous govt., Kammas, now Reddys, this is open secret.

I clarified that I was just giving facts regarding religion of Y V Subba Reddy. After the loss of Chandra Babu pgurus is being misused by some vested interests to spread lies. As far as politicisation of temples is concerned it is up to BJP to stop oppression of majority.
Central govt should enact law freeing the temples from the control of outsiders and hand over the same to peethadhipatis or swamis. The income of the temple should be used for the common benefit of Hindus only. The lands which were leased, donated to the evangelists and others should be taken over by the govt.
