UP Police catches PFI Office Secretary who works under the garb of Journalism

The Uttar Pradesh Police has caught controversial pro-Islamic organization Popular Front of India’s (PFI) Delhi Office Secretary Siddique Kappan, who is also working as a Journalist along with other PFI leaders on their way to enter agitations struck Hathras. Recently Police has arrested many persons from pro-Islamic organizations like PFI, SDPI (Socialist Democratic Party of India – a covert name to fool people) and Welfare Party (another covert name to fool people). These organizations infiltrate into many sectors and Delhi Police is also probing into the role of Delhi Riots. All these Organisations’ Delhi offices are in Okhala Shaheen Bagh area.

Siddique Kappan is the office Secretary of PFI in Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh and was also using a Journalist cover by showing identity card of a Kerala based newspaper named as ‘Tejas’. This newspaper is now defunct and was an organ of PFI. Siddique was playing a double role in Delhi of a PFI under the garb of Journalism. He is also the Secretary of Delhi Unit of Kerala Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ), a union of Journalists working in Delhi on behalf of Kerala based media organizations. After his PFI’s Tejas newspaper was shut down, Siddique was using his journalism cover as a columnist for some websites.

It is high time the agencies crush the radical elements parked in Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh area, where the National Highway was blocked for more than 100 days using women and kids by pro-Islamic elements

UP Police arrested him near Mathura along with other PFI activists and their student wing (Campus Front of India) leaders. Now the Journalist union KUWJ, claims that he was doing his duty as Journalist. The question is how a political organization PFI’s Office Secretary can claim the cover of a Journalist. This is the usual trick of such organizations by infiltrating their cadre into many sectors to claim the cover for their dubious activities.

PFI and their allied pro-Islamic organizations are operating in the Shaheen Bagh area in Delhi and are involved in the Shaheen Bagh protests leading to Delhi riots in February 2020. Recently the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Delhi Police unearthed their huge money trail. Another dubious organization associated with the PFI is the Welfare Party lead by Syed Qasim Rasool Ilyas. His son Omar Khalid is an accused in Delhi riots. Ilyas was also the founding leaders of banned notorious SIMI (Students Islamic Movement of India). Many Kerala-based organizations such as the SDPI and SIO are in association with PFI involved in many nefarious activities and inciting radical Islamic elements across India. PGurus reported earlier how in Uttar Pradesh, many Islamic organizations started covert activities after Yogi Adityanath became the Chief Minister and controversial Dr Kafeel Khan’s link with these organizations [1].

It is high time the agencies crush the radical elements parked in Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh area, where the National Highway was blocked for more than 100 days using women and kids by pro-Islamic elements. Many such elements are also parked in the Jamia Milia University area too. There are many in the media who are supporting and getting paid from these organizations for giving favourable media coverage. The investigating agencies must crush these anti-national elements who wanted to create unrest in the Muslim community.
