Will Mr.Kejriwal own up to all his mistakes?
There’s the first good news for AAP after MCD elections. Arvind Kejriwal has owned up to his and his party’s mistakes. He’s given a Press Release which reads as below:
“[dropcap color=”#008040″ boxed=”yes” boxed_radius=”8px” class=”” id=””]I[/dropcap]n the last two days, I spoke to many volunteers and voters. The reality is obvious. Yes, we made mistakes but we will introspect and course correct. Time to go back to the drawing board. To not evolve would be silly. We owe that to voters and volunteers. We owe that to ourselves. The need is action and not excuses. It’s time to get back to work. And even if we slip from time to time, the key is to find the reserves to hold and pull ourselves up. The people deserve nothing less. The only constant is change.”
If he does confess to at least the key mistakes, who knows, he may even get his chance to bounce back for bigger roles in politics, someday not too far away.
Coming from a belligerent Arvind Kejriwal, this confession may be good for him, for his party and for politics… provided he also specifies the mistakes he owns up to. We just want to rule out the possibility that the mistakes he owns up to and the mistakes for which the people punished him in the MCD elections are at least nearly the same. If they are not, it may not be good news for AAP and Kejriwal yet.
Ideally, we would like him to address the following issues:
1. Does he admit that it was a terrible mistake to expel AAP’s founder members like Yogendra Yadav, Prashanth Bhushan and Mayank Gandhi? Will he re-admit them and make them head the party at the national level, as the present leadership has lost the moral authority?
2. Does he admit AAP also made mistakes in fund collection and accounting?
3. Does he admit that AAP admitted leaders with dubious credentials and gave them positions of power?
4. Does he admit that there is at least some substance in the accusations of criminal conduct (like corruption, nepotism, sexual harassment, forgery, extortion, domestic violence, etc) against AAP leaders? Does he also admit to his own complicit acts of indiscrete nepotism in respect of discretionary appointments in Delhi Government?
5. Does he admit that he indulged in theatrics like continuous quarrels with the LG & the Central Government (calling Modi names unnecessarily), disruptive politics, reckless defamation of political opponents, etc?
6. Does he admit that he made several promises and backtracked on them, that affected his personal credibility? Can he list at least the main ones?
[dropcap color=”#008040″ boxed=”yes” boxed_radius=”8px” class=”” id=””]B[/dropcap]ut answering all these questions requires a kind of humility that not just Arvind Kejriwal, but perhaps no Indian politician may have. But at least if he hints at these without confessing to all these specifically, he will stand tall, and people may hope he may be able to gain back their trust in him,… of course, assuming that he doesn’t repeat any of these mistakes.
Though asking such questions may appear cruel to Mr. Kejriwal, he will give himself a lifeline by just owning up to as many of the mistakes as he has to guts to own up to.

what good has aloo done that the author wants him to serve the country? Courting anti socials or raising against army???Another msm style reporting with shallow facts!!! Pgurus standards seem to be on decline…
Mr. Arvind rose to power only due to Anna Hazare’s movement. After foolishly going against the sentiments of proud Indians on the surgical strike issue, I am sure the voter have decided once for all that he is not fit to be an Indian and politician at that and hence I do not see his comeback any time on the political scene.
To me Kejriwal is comparable to counterfeit currency who should go out of circulation ,the sooner the better for the country. He is fake , inside out.
He is a megalomaniac who thinks that he is the one and only virtuous man in whole of the universe.
He ditched a gentle soul like Anna Hazare whose shoulders he used to climb on to the national stage.
He has ditched other men of merit around him because of his self-centredness. He is scheming and treacherous.Constitutionally he is a social misfit and destructive by nature .His aim is not to serve the country and its people but somehow to grab fame and power.He is in a hurry and wants short cuts to reach his goals. Alas , there are no short-cuts to greatness.
The writer, Mr.Ganesan wants Kejriwal to own up his mistakes but I say, he ( Kejriwal ) himself is a mistake !

And the author of this article is Ganesan Subramanian. So Subramanian Swamy and Ganesan Subramanian are two different people.
If you are going to be a smart-alec then please at least get people’s names correct in your statement.

I am not dumb to not see the obvious difference in names or smart alec as well. I would like to ask specifically pointed few questions to Swamy but alas he would either dodge as usual or block me if i persist. no point in asking him he is a great preacher ever since he merged his janata party with BJP in 2013 from which point i have been observing his attitude change and how he had become very compromised but covering under the garb of party discipline etc
Also this site with its usual articles always portray pessimism or question everything under the sun (my way or highway attitude borrowing perhaps from Swamy) without giving any implementable suggestions on ground. They usually say everything is screwed up etc.. Perhaps it is site authors point of view but i can always ask questions?
btw i read articles here and asking questions is not right i believe…
