Why Article 35A HAS to go?

This anti-national article curbs the right of Indians from other states from taking permanent residence in J & K and buying property there

Why Article 35A HAS to go?
Why Article 35A HAS to go?

Let us unite and crush Article 35A, the anti-national forces of Kashmir

This obnoxious article was introduced in the Constitution by the then President Rajendra Prasad on the advice of the Nehru cabinet WITHOUT the sanction of Parliament!! A huge fraud was committed on the nation just to appease separatist elements of Kashmir. Among other things, this anti-national article curbs the right of Indians from other states from taking permanent residence in J & K and buying property there.

Separatist leaders, who are paid agents of Pakistan, called for a Kashmir bandh to put pressure on the Supreme Court which is going to decide the constitutional validity of 35 A

Although, a Kashmiri can relocate to any part of India and buy property! You will find Kashmiris in almost all states doing business or in service and own properties unhindered. They are welcome everywhere. But, you can go to Kashmir only as a tourist or a pilgrim and spend your money there.  But you cannot settle down there or buy an inch of the property. Why this double standard?

Also, if a J& K woman marries a man from outside the state their children can’t get permanent resident status!! They are treated illegitimate!! Can there be a more bizarre law?? Hence Article 35A HAS TO GO!! In fact, Article 370, which was visualised as a temporary provision, too should go in the national interest. ONE NATION, ONE LAW!!

Separatist leaders, who are paid agents of Pakistan, called for a Kashmir bandh to put pressure on the Supreme Court which is going to decide the constitutional validity of  Article 35A.  Let us unite and crush the anti-national forces of Kashmir. We have tolerated their nonsense far too long. Jai Hind!!!

  1. Nehru would not have framed 35A if he knew in future his own kashmiri pandit community would be tortured and evicted. Kashmiri fake Jihadis dont want Kashmiri pandits but want a law framed by them 35A 🙂

  2. Its long overdue. Especially we had huge hope on BJP that it will take up the issue of both Article 35A & 370 as it gets into power. But the last 4yrs its been a huge disappointment. So, Its now or never.

  3. If the Government is not acting in abolishing Article 35A, then citizens of India other than Kashmir should not sell or buy properties from Kashmeeris, who hold assets in other parts of India. Time is not far off. What a one sided “article”, the congress has agreed? Lack of education to public at that point of time was the reason for such misdeeds.

  4. This shows our forefathers were fools and backward we the biggest fool injustice to billions and no one in govt ever raised this issue of 35 A to correct . Any one opposing should lose his/her voting rights for next 20 yrs
