Donate generously to Bharat Ke Veer fund for the welfare of families of soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the Nation

Published by

One week after Pakistan sponsored Jihadi terror attack in Pulwama in Kashmir, where 44 CRPF soldiers lost their lives, the anger is widespread in the hearts of sensible Indians to avenge this dastardly attack by terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed, sponsored by Pakistan. India must avenge for this terror attack and every Indian must support the Government of India. Meanwhile, everyone must remember and act to support the families of soldiers who lost their lives. There is a novel venture called Bharat Ke Veer floated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to enable people to give donations to the welfare of the sacrificed paramilitary soldiers.

Donate generously

This website https://bharatkeveer.gov.in is in operation for the past two years to enable people to donate for the welfare of the families of sacrificed soldiers of paramilitary forces of Central Government. Home Minister Rajnath Singh deserves credit for launching this website in mid-2017. This website enables people from anywhere to donate funds online and it also has specific features to donate for the Corpus Fund as well as for a particular soldier’s family.

Those who are not familiar with online money transfer can also opt for paying through cheques. The cheques in favour of ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ can be send to the following address :- DIG (IT), CRPF,  Directorate General CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110003. No need to mention that these donations for the noble purpose are tax exempted.

We urge that every Indian to help the families of the soldiers who lost their lives in the line of duty. As per news reports, after the Pulwama attack, within four days (till February 18), Rs.46 crores has poured into Bharat Ke Veer fund as donations. India being a country of more than 125 crore people, this is not a big amount.

When we compare this with the first-week collection figures for Bollywood movies, this is not a big amount. We must remember that India has around eight crore Income Tax payers and imagine the amount if 20 or 30 percent of the tax payers donated to Bharat Ke Veer fund!

With this note, we again urge every Indian to donate generously to Bharat Ke Veer fund, as an Indophile. Last, but not the least, we urge Keyboard warriors in Social Media to visit the website https://bharatkeveer.gov.in and donate generously for the welfare of the families of soldiers who lost life in the line of duty.
