
Mohammad Ayaz alias Tanveer arrested in Amravati for alleged exploitation of minors, police probe widens
A man accused of sexually exploiting multiple minor girls and recording hundreds of obscene videos has been arrested in Amravati, police said.
The accused, Mohammad Ayaz, also known as Tanveer, allegedly targeted minors through social media platforms and lured them under false pretences.

According to investigators, Ayaz allegedly contacted victims via messaging platforms and persuaded them into meetings. He is accused of taking some of the girls to cities like Mumbai and Pune, where he recorded explicit videos.
Police suspect the videos were used for blackmail and coercion. Some content is also believed to have been circulated online.
Complaint triggers swift police action against Mohammad Ayaz
The matter came to light after a complaint was raised by Anil Bonde, prompting immediate police action. Authorities have since arrested the accused and produced him before a court, which remanded him to police custody for seven days.
Mohammad Ayaz under investigation for wider network links
Police have seized the accused’s mobile phone, which reportedly contains objectionable material. Investigators are now examining whether the content was shared with others or linked to a larger network.
The cyber cell is also analysing digital evidence to trace the circulation of videos.
Officials said further investigation is underway.
