Karma in the guise of Mamdani

One object from beyond, one Mayor from within

Two remarkable events have happened in the final quarter of 2025. A unique visitor 3I/ATLAS, an unknown interstellar object, has intruded into our solar system from some unknown galaxy, causing curiosity and anxiety among space and defence scientists. The other is a legalized intruder who has created a tectonic shift in the political landscape of the USA. Zohran Mamdani became the first Muslim Mayor of New York City and proclaimed, “The future is in our hands; we have toppled a political dynasty.”

Every mosque across the globe was silently rejoicing in Mamdani’s victory; in a way, it symbolized the beginning of the victory of Islam over Christendom. Democratic America was always comfortable with Islamic fundamentalist dictatorships in the Middle East and elsewhere; clandestine patronage and military support for fanatical terror groups was a continuous process draining American taxpayers’ money. But the radical terror groups could never relate to America’s power games, particularly its foreign policy in the Middle East and the presence of US troops in Saudi Arabia, which were central to Osama bin Laden’s motivations for attacks against the United States. Bin Laden viewed US actions as a direct oppression of Muslims and a violation of Islamic holy lands, which fuelled his violent jihad to drive Americans out of the region and establish Sharia law. He also expressed broader criticism of American secularism, the media, and perceived moral decadence. Twenty-four years back, Osama Bin Laden directed the deadliest attack on US soil, which terrorized the nation. On the 11th of September, 2001, four hijacked passenger planes were used as weapons. Two crashed into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre in New York, a third hit the Pentagon just outside Washington D.C., and a fourth went down in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, after passengers fought back. The attacks killed 2,977 people, not including the 19 hijackers. The victims included citizens from 77 countries and 441 first responders in New York City. President George W. Bush made a statement in the Oval Office on September 13, 2001. “Make no mistake about it, my resolve is steady and strong about winning this war that has been declared on America”. The US response to the attacks included a military invasion of Afghanistan to dismantle al-Qaeda and hunt down its leader, Osama Bin Laden, who was killed in a 2011 raid in Pakistan. But unnoticed by the Americans, a blueprint for another kind of conquest of America is being hatched.

Muslims have been a presence in North America since the 16th century. Understanding present-day Muslim expansion is extremely important for people living in the United States. Although in the past, there has not been very much public involvement by Muslims in the United States, the state of this lack of participation is undergoing a sea-change today. Muslims are now becoming more hyper-aggressive and seeking active involvement in politics and public affairs. Americans now need to discern the reasons behind increased participation of Muslims seeking a more assertive role; it is also imperative for Americans to understand the reasons behind the rapidly escalating population growth of Muslims in America, and the shocking fact that Islam is now the fastest-growing religion in America. Muslims are second in ranking to Christians in the United States. Surely, a not-so-comfortable future.

The Pew Research Centre, in its publication, “Muslims in America: Immigrants and those born in US see life differently in many ways.”(April 14 2018), states “Most US Muslim adults (58%) hail from other parts of the globe, their presence in America owing largely to the 1965 Immigration and Nationality Act that lowered barriers to immigration from Asia, Africa and other regions outside Europe.

But the US-born share of the American Muslim population is also considerable (42%). It consists of descendants of Muslim immigrants, converts to Islam (many of them black), and descendants of converts”.

Further, “Muslim immigrants in the United States, roughly half of whom (56%) have arrived since the year 2000, come from a wide array of countries, and no single region or country of origin accounts for a majority of them. In total, immigrant respondents in the Pew Research Centre’s 2017 survey of US Muslims named 75 different countries of origin. And this is reflected in their racial and ethnic diversity: No single racial or ethnic group accounts for a majority among Muslim immigrants, with 45% identifying as white and a similar share (41%) identifying as Asian”.

Limitations of available information

  • No specific religious tracking: The US government claims that it does not track immigrants based on their religion, so no specific total number of “Muslim nationalities” can be calculated.
  • Data collection timeframe: Official government immigration statistics are often released with a time lag. Current, real-time data for 2024 detailing all specific nationalities is not yet finalized or publicly reported by the Department of Homeland Security.
  • However, the 2020 United States Religion Census estimates that there are 4.5 million Muslims in the United States. However, surveys funded by the American Jewish Committee say Muslims are around three million Muslims in America.
Where did the Americans go wrong? People from extremely fundamentalist countries like Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan, and Bangladesh were welcomed.

Many of his utterances reveal his underlying deep fanaticism.

The process of Islamization of America has started in earnest. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), America’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, and CAIR Action, its advocacy affiliate, have revealed that the results from the November 4, 2025, elections show record Muslim participation and 38 confirmed victories nationwide out of 76 Muslim candidates on the ballot across the nation. The 2025 off-year elections produced multiple historic milestones, including Zohran K. Mamdani’s election as New York City’s first Muslim mayor and Ghazala Hashmi’s victory as Virginia’s first Muslim lieutenant governor, making her the first Muslim woman ever elected to state-wide office in US history.

Americans will soon see the Constitution being used against them; laws being used against them; media being used against them; students being used against them; non-governmental organizations being used against them; and social media being used against them; their human rights organizations being used against them; proselytizers preaching a new desert cult being used against them and paid politicians being used against them.

The above script seems familiar, doesn’t it? Yes, this was the syllabus being used by American politicians and their intelligence agencies to destabilize countries that were not aligned with their interests. Many countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America suffered diabolical wars, internal rebellion, political assassinations, dramatic alterations in religious profile, and economic impoverishment.

34-year-old Zohran Mamdani versus 79-year-old Donald Trump can be a decisive fight, the stake being America’s future. The impending clash of these two political entities brings to mind the epic clash between Charles Martel’s Frankish forces and Abd al-Rahman Al-Ghafiqi’s Umayyad army at the Battle of Tours, also known as the Battle of Poitiers, on October 10, 732. The battle resulted in a decisive Frankish victory, with Abd al-Rahman killed in action. This defeat halted the northward advance of the Umayyad Caliphate into Western Europe.

Mamdani has raised a clarion call: “If anyone can show a nation betrayed by Donald Trump how to defeat him, it is the city that gave rise to him.”

“And if there is any way to terrify a despot, it is by dismantling the very conditions that allowed him to accumulate power. This is not only how we stop Trump; it’s how we stop the next one.”

“So hear me, President Trump, when I say this: To get to any of us, you will have to go through all of us.” Mamdani has thrown down the gauntlet.

Trump’s brazen abrasiveness has earned him many enemies inside America and across the globe. Handling Mamdani and his fanatical hordes can be a tough ordeal, for which Trump will need the unstinted support of all communities and political parties. Though the distance between New York to Washington is only 264 miles, Karma often takes an elliptical orbit, encompassing not only America but many other nations.

In a way, Mamdani appears to be Karma in disguise, seeking revenge for the millions of innocents massacred in Vietnam, Korea, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and the genocide of Native American peoples, their religions, cultures, and languages. The accumulated Karmic burden has suddenly fallen on Donald Trump, who needs to understand that Karmic forces are above religions, cults, and beliefs. Congressman Paul Tonko puts it correctly, “When a part of our nation gets knocked down, we come together to help pick it up again. No questions asked. That’s the American way, and I would expect every single member of Congress to support that sentiment with their words, their actions, and their votes”.
