The Medical Council of India (MCI) has declared Mukesh Ambani Group run prestigious Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute’s course for a Masters in Emergency Medicine as illegal, as it did not obtain approval. MCI’s circular dated September 28 says that this famous Institute has not taken mandated permission from the Central Government or the MCI.
The same circular also says that the declared the courses run by two other institutes as illegal under the same circumstances:
Indira Gandhi National Open University’s PG Diploma in HIV Medicine, Health Management, Maternal and Child Health and Geriatric Medicine
AMRI Hospital in Bhubhaneswar’s course titled as Master in Emergency Medicine also lost approval of MCI.
“It may be noted that the above courses have not been accorded permission by the Central Government as statutorily required under Section 10A of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Consequently, such qualifications are non-recognised and the holders thereof are not entitled to seek registration of Additional qualifications with the concerned Medical Council. Thus, the offering of such Post Graduate courses in Modern Medicine are illegal and void ab initio,” said the MCI Circular.
The circular cautions everyone from enrolling in such courses as they have not been recognized. The approved list of courses can be seen at MCI’s Website.

Now we know why Mukesh's TV Channel CNN IBN has suddenly become anti Modi.
What has this MCI done about the huge cash capitalization for medical seats? Zilch.
What have they done about all the medical scams overcharging customers and making them spend on tests and facilities that need never have been used? Zilch
Incidentally, Mukesh's masters do not reside in India. Do not expect him to respond. Likely MCI will be asked to await instructions.
