My New Letter Series – Dear BCCI, Please Re-Consider Your Decision To Not Play…

'What's the catch?' There are many advantages, but there are NO DISADVANTAGES at all! Would recommend visiting Pak and playing cricket there!

Dear BCCI,

In Pakistan!! The beauty, the landscape (including the blast sites, the areas where temples were razed down, the beautiful cities, the gorgeous girls, and the “Khush Haali” that exists in that country is par compare [or, maybe that should read Beyond Compare, but what the hell, I’m an American and have no knowledge of French so screw that])!!! You’re all baniyas (thanks Pakistani Social Media for telling me I’m a baniya, although I’m sure the baniya community is very offended thinking of me as one of them) and know the value of each and every single ₹ (Indian Rupee).

Let me make it simpler, than that, for you. I’m being very frank when I tell you that Pakistan DOES NOT CARE about the money that they’ll LOSE when hosting a match between India and Pakistan. They’ve already told India, and the BCCI, “to go to hell” (thanks, Miandad)!! We should, at this point, growel and beg Pakistan to honor us by allowing us to play wherever they chose (if it is on the streets of Islamabad or Karachi, or any other of their economically thriving cities, so be it! Ain’t nothin’ wrong with “gully” cricket!!) The bottom line is India will make a HUGE PROFIT while letting Pakistan bear the humongous economic losses of hosting a non-competitive team like India!

I mean, let’s get this clear, India is already, asking for hand-outs (even 10,000 ₹ is good, as the BCCI is cash-strapped and the PCB dictates what the ICC should (and shouldn’t) do! The BANE of Indian cricket is a LACK OF sponsors, while the THRIVING businesses in that neighbouring country are standing in a FRICKIN’ line)!!! Look at the positive side, BCCI! The underpaid Indian players will get to eat Biryani (even if it’s the leftovers from the overpaid and overfed Pakistani players [not including the undernourished Sarfaraz Ahmed]).

Grossly underpaid and unknown cricketers like that guy who married that movie actress, (I think his name is V-rat Pohli, my apologies, most of the cricketing world does NOT know this unknown player) would get a chance to play against that pace phenomenon, Syed Ali, world-renowned!! They’d get exposure to world-class players like the player, mentioned above. It may give the Indian players that added exposure that they desperately need, so they DO NOT lose to that great cricketing country, like they did in 2022. V-rat was a complete non-show in that particular match!!! If you remember, Syed Ali ran thro the Indian side claiming 10 wickets in that match!!!! Yep, that guy!!!

Now, let’s talk fans! The Indian fans, all 1.4 billion of them, are thronging the borders waiting to get some food in that country (I know a few strict vegetarians who have said they’ll eat any (hygienic) food in that neighbouring country. This beats the unhygienic food they get at home! Wouldn’t that be sufficient motivation?? People eating a proper meal!! Even if that’s leftovers off of the plates of the overfed local citizens!!

There are a WHOLE LOT OF advantages and absolutely NO DISADVANTAGES!! I would really recommend going to that country and playing cricket there! A WIN-WIN situation for the cash-strapped BCCI, take it from an IMF economist!!!
