There is an existing political ruckus over the comparison of Hindutva with terrorist organizations Boko Haram and ISIS in the book ‘Sunrise Over Ayodhya‘ by senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Salman Khurshid.
The BJP on Thursday held a press conference at the party headquarters and demanded that Congress National President Sonia Gandhi should sack the leaders from the party those who insult Hindus and Hindu Gods.
Referring to the statements of Salman Khurshid, P Chidambaram, Mani Shankar Aiyar, and Shashi Tharoor, BJP’s national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia on Thursday also made a scathing attack on the Gandhi family and now Rashid Alvi’s statement has created a new ruckus.
Bihar Congress leader Rishi Mishra has termed the things written in the book of Congress leader Salman Khurshid as completely wrong. He said that whatever Salman Khurshid has written in his book is absolutely wrong and he should apologize.
BJP state vice-president Rajiv Ranjan said, “Congress leader Khurshid is acting as a covert agent of ISIS. Without the consent of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, nothing can happen in the Congress party. In such a situation, the silence of both about the things written in this book so far reflects their silent support.
The entire Congress party is facing criticism also from within the party.
Congress leader and former State Youth Congress President Lalan Kumar have demanded action against the Khurshid from the Congress High Command.
JD(U) spokesperson Ajay Alok said, “How dare Salman Khurshid compare 100 crore Hindus with ISIS and Boko Haram. If ISIS-like bigotry comes, then he will have to run away. Congress party should apologize for this.”
