Prasad Jayanti

Dr. Jayanti is the chair and James Frank Family Professor of Computer Science at Dartmouth College. He is a recipient of prestigious research and teaching awards, including the Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship, Distinguished Teacher awards from two Ivy league universities (Cornell and Dartmouth), and Dartmouth’s Elizabeth Howland Hand-Otis Norton Pierce Award for distinguished undergraduate teaching. Dr. Jayanti’s love for teaching is inspired, in his own words, “by my mother, who was my first Guru, my teachers at Sri Ramakrishna mission school in Chennai, where I studied from Grade 1 to Grade 11 in Telugu medium, and my father who taught me Grade 12 mathematics.”
