Subramanian Swamy

Subramanian Swamy is an anti-corruption crusader, economist, mathematician, and politician who serves as a Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament. He was a Professor at the Harvard University. Swamy has served as a member of the Planning Commission of India and was a Cabinet Minister in the Chandra Shekhar government as Minister for Law and Commerce. In 1994, Swamy was appointed as Chairman of the Commission on Labour Standards and International Trade by former Prime Minister P. V. Narasimha Rao. Subramanian Swamy is a National Executive Member of the BJP and the President of Virat Hindustan Sangam (VHS).
