Central govt’s decision, business tycoon Gautam Adani will get Z plus security, increased security after an intelligence input
The Central government has decided to give ‘Z category’ security to the country’s top industrialist Gautam Adani. This decision has been taken on the basis of a report sent by the Intelligence Bureau (IB). According to sources, more than 30 army personnel will be deployed in the security given to India’s top industrialist.
The Union Home Ministry recently approved an armed commando squad following a threat perception report received from the IB to the business tycoon. Adani has been provided high-level security by the government for which he will himself bear its expenses.
Gautam Adani is one of the billionaires of the country and at present, his group is associated with many such projects which are very important for the country. In such a situation, concerns have been raised about their safety. The shares of the Adani Group have risen sharply in the past few days and Adani has been ranked among the world’s richest industrialists.
Business tycoon Gautam Adani has overtaken Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates to become the fourth-richest person on the planet. This comes nearly three months after the Adani Group chairman tied with Gates as the world’s fourth-richest person in April this year. According to the real-time list of Forbes, his net worth has crossed $129 billion and at present, he is richer than Elon Musk, Bernard Arnault, and Jeff Bezos only.
Earlier, industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani have also been given ‘Z’ security by the Ministry of Home Affairs for which they are paying for its cost themselves.
