Avinash Bhosale is also been investigated by the ED for FEMA violations
After the arrest by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Pune businessman Avinash Bhosale has also been served a notice by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to vacate the property in Pune which was attached by the agency in a money laundering case last year.

Bhosale was arrested on May 26 in connection with an alleged corruption case pertaining to Yes Bank and Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Limited (DHFL). He was sent to CBI’s custody till June 8. After arrest, Bhosale was taken to Delhi for further interrogation.
Earlier, the ED had attached the plot, worth over Rs.4 crore (current marker worth over Rs.100 crore) last August in a money laundering case they have registered against him, and on Tuesday, the adjudication authority had confirmed the attachment.
In 2018, Bhosale received around Rs.68.82 crore from DHFL and called it consultancy charges. The probe agency has claimed that Bhosale didn’t provide any consultancy service to DHFL and the money received by him was nothing but an alleged proceed of crime.
