Raids linked to Rs.22 cr bank fraud case involving Truedom EPC Limited

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches at multiple locations associated with Tamil Nadu’s Minister for Municipal Administration, Urban and Water Supply, K N Nehru, and his son, Arun Nehru, a Member of Parliament.

According to sources, the raids are part of an investigation into a Rs.22 crore bank fraud case. The complaint was filed by Indian Overseas Bank against Truedom EPC Limited. Notably, Minister Nehru’s brother, N Ravichandran, is a director in the firm.

Additional raids at True Value Homes linked to Nehru’s family

The ED also searched premises connected to the real estate firm True Value Homes (TVH), reportedly owned by N Ravichandran. Overall, 13 locations across Tamil Nadu were raided, including the minister’s residence in Trichy. Accordingly, raids are being conducted at Adyar, Teynampet, Alwarpet, CIT Colony, Besant Nagar, and MRC Nagar.

Similarly, ED officials are conducting raids at the house of Minister K N Nehru’s son and Perambalur MP Arun Nehru and any other places related to him. It seems that the search is being conducted because Arun is a partner in those construction companies.
