IT raids at G-Square premises

More than 50 places have been raided by the Income Tax Department at the premises of G-Square relations, a real estate company allegedly closely related to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin and his family members.

Income Tax sleuths are conducting raids and searches in the premises of Stalin’s son-in-law Sabareesan‘s auditor’s residence also.

The Tamil Nadu BJP president, K Annamalai had a few days back released the ‘DMK files‘, in which he alleged that Stalin’s son and current Minister, Udayanidhi Stalin, and his son-in-law Sabareesan had generated income much above their known sources of income.

There were allegations that G-Square had received unhindered support when Stalin was Deputy Chief Minister in his father Karunanidhi‘s Cabinet. Annamalai has charged that his allegations of money swindling were not only of the present DMK government but also during the period of M Karunanidhi.

  1. Is there a way other than daily raids, make companies to share info, which one can analyze at leisure & then make raids ? Can such controls be built into the system ?

Anyone carrying 1 gram gold coin is a criminal at the airport. People will pay customs duty & walk royally why criminalize & too many repeat headlines loses its eye ball value

TWO bottles of very costly wine (aged wine) broken during luggage scanning by Hyderabad did not hit headlines. Poor passenger, he was in tears & irreparable loss to him (wine loss & also money loss, additionally his dream of enjoying wine – time & dreams dashed). Airport authorities did not even register a case nor any compensation.
