Atiq Ahmad’s son killed in an encounter in Jhansi by STF
Mohd Asad, son of gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmad and shooter Ghulam, has been shot dead in an encounter with Uttar Pradesh Police’s Special Task Force (STF) team in Jhansi. Both carried a reward of Rs.5 lakh on their heads.
The STF 12-member team led by Deputy S P Navendu and Deputy S P Vimal carried out the encounter at Jhansi. Sophisticated foreign-made weapons have been recovered from the two deceased.
Asad had been caught on camera opening fire at Umesh Pal in Dhoomanganj in Prayagraj on February 24.
The encounter took place on a day when Atiq Ahmad and his brother Ashraf are being produced in court in Prayagraj.
ADG STF Amitabh Yash said that the STF had asked the two to surrender but they opened fire after which the team had to retaliate.
Meanwhile, Atiq Ahmad broke down in court during the hearing when informed of his son’s encounter.
Umesh Pal, a key witness in the 2005 murder case of BSP MLA Raju Pal, and his two police security guards were shot dead outside his home in Prayagraj’s Dhoomanganj area on February 24 this year.
Based on a complaint lodged by Umesh Pal’s wife Jaya Pal, a case was registered on February 25 against Ahmad, Ashraf, their family members, and others.

I held & rised my head in pride that what Indian judiciary failed to do all these years, will be done by Yogi govt in few months. Thiefs, Thugs, political murderers & gangster now will fear in darkness and no room to hide anywhere in UP. Neighbor states to be alert i.e. Bihar protected by Nitish & his supporters Tejaswini Yadav – beware if you give protection, same may also happen to them.
Lord Parusham’s ansh is in UP now. May God bless him long life to make India free from all bad characters & where women of all ages, can walk freely even in dead of night without any fear.
Rising India !! India is getting awakened !!
