BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has launched a fresh and scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, comparing him with Pakistan founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah and accusing him of working against India’s interests.

In a post on X, Dubey said, “Jinnah’s second birth has taken place in the form of Rahul Gandhi ji,” escalating the BJP’s criticism of the Leader of Opposition.

Dubey’s remarks come amid an increasingly bitter political confrontation between the BJP and Congress, with Rahul Gandhi facing repeated attacks from the ruling party over his statements and conduct in Parliament.

Dubey intensifies attack on Rahul Gandhi

The latest remark is part of Dubey’s continuing criticism of Gandhi. Earlier, the BJP MP had moved a substantive motion against the Congress leader, seeking action against him over what he described as conduct detrimental to India’s unity and integrity.

Dubey has accused Gandhi of making statements that allegedly undermine Indian institutions and the armed forces. He has also questioned Gandhi’s foreign interactions and alleged links with organisations that the BJP has previously criticised.

Congress and BJP face-off intensifies

The latest attack comes amid repeated clashes between the treasury and Opposition benches in Parliament.

Dubey’s earlier motion against Gandhi had sought cancellation of his Lok Sabha membership and a lifetime bar from contesting elections. Constitutional expert P.D.T. Achary, however, questioned the procedural basis of that move and said expulsion and disqualification are governed by specific constitutional and parliamentary provisions.
