Pakistan-based handlers plot to revive Separatist terror outfits foiled

Pakistan-based handlers of various separatist outfits lying dormant in Jammu and Kashmir have once again failed in their efforts to revive the banned organization Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) and Hurriyat Conference.

On Sunday, a search was conducted based on credible information about the meeting of some former terrorists of JKLF & erstwhile separatists in a hotel in Srinagar. Over three dozen individuals, who were attending the meeting in the garb of Eid Milan celebrations, were brought to Kothibagh Police Station for verification.

After completing the preliminary investigation in the case the Jammu and Kashmir police have so far arrested 10 individuals.

A case FIR No 23/2023 under sections 10, 13 of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act & section 121A of IPC has been registered in Police Station Kothibagh.

In a written statement a spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir police said, “The arrested persons and others were planning to revive these organizations under the direction of Pakistan-based handlers. This meeting was an overt attempt to start working for the revival of these moribund organizations”.

According to a police spokesman, “initial investigation has also revealed that some of the invitees were in touch with entities based abroad, and few of them were members of many groups that propagate secessionism like the Kashmir Global Council headed by Farooq Siddiqui and Raja Muzaffer of JKLF”.

Under the garb of manufactured pretext, this meeting which took place, the real agenda of the meeting was to discuss the strategy of revival. Initial investigation has also revealed that a similar preliminary meeting took place on 13th June 2023, which was attended by most of them.

The arrested persons have been identified as Mohammad Yaseen Bhat S/o Gh Mohd Bhat R/o Nigeenbagh Sgr, Mohammad Rafiq Pahloo S/o Gh Hassan R/o Natipora, Shams u din Rehmani S/o Amir Ahmad R/o Lalbazar, Jahangeer Ahmad Bhat S/o Ab Gani Bhat R/o Batengo Sopore, Khurshid Ah Bhat S/o Gh Mohd R/o Rawalpora, Shabir Ah Dar S/o Gh Nabi R/o Badamwari Sopore, Sajad Hussain Gul S/o Ab Hamid R/o Panthachowk, Srinagar, Firdous Ah Shah S/o Ali Mohammad R/o Abiguzar Srinagar, Parray Hassan Firdous S/o Ab Rashid R/o Lawaypora Srinagar, Sohail Ahmad Mir S/o Ab Salam R/o Peerbagh, Budgam

Meanwhile, the J&k police have now expanded the scope of the investigation and some more arrests are likely to take place in the coming days.

A large number of separatists and sympathizers of these terrorist outfits have been arrested by the National Investigation Agency in the ongoing investigations of terror financing cases.

A handful of them who are out have either lost their relevance or are already a spent force. The crackdown on Jamaat-e-Islami also broke down the backbone of these separatist bodies leading to a resource crunch.

  1. Previously Pappy party allowed all this for THREE decades, for it was hand in gloves with Porkistan.

Pappu party is putting $ time bombs by giving freebies & Indian states become poor & hoping the next BJP returning will put taxes, make-up deficit, then Khangress will return back to power to loot more.
