Mahindra & Mahindra receives unprecedented bookings for its Mahindra XUV700
Mahindra & Mahindra‘s XUV700 has received unprecedented bookings since its launch. Right in the first month, it had received more than 65,000 bookings.
It has now reached one lakh bookings and is set to become the fastest SUV in India to reach that milestone. Mahindra XUV700 has a waiting period that ranges from 6-10 months, more than 12 months for the XUV700 AX7 trim.
The XUV700 has also been able to attract newer segments with many first-time buyers for the brand.
Mahindra’s official statement said, “Given the unprecedented bookings and the continued strong demand for the XUV700, the waiting period for a majority of the variants stand at 6-10 months, while the AX7 series has a waiting period of well over 12 months.”
Earlier, the manufacturer had issued a disclaimer saying ‘due to the global pandemic and its impact on supply chain, delivery dates may get delayed’.
The XUV700 is powered by 204PS 2-litre turbo-petrol and 155PS/ 185PS 2.2-litre diesel engines, paired with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. The top-spec AX7 diesel-automatic can be had with AWD (all-wheel drive).
The price of Mahindra XUV700 starts at Rs.12.95 lakh and goes up to Rs.23.79 lakh. Mahindra XUV700 is offered in 23 variants – the base model of XUV700 is MX and the top variant Mahindra XUV700 AX7 Diesel at luxury pack AWD comes at a price tag of Rs.23.79 lakh.
