Two children killed in Church attack
A tragic school shooting in Minneapolis on Wednesday left two children dead after a 23-year-old attacker, identified as Robin Westman, opened fire inside the Annunciation Catholic School church service.
Westman used three firearms—a rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol—firing dozens of rounds before being found dead in the school parking lot from what officials believe was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Disturbing messages found on weapons
According to officials, Westman’s weapons carried chilling messages. Video footage from Westman’s now-deleted YouTube channel showed phrases including:
- “Kill Donald Trump”
- “Nuke India”
- “Israel must fall”
- “Burn Israel”
- “Where is your God?”
- “For the children”
Some magazines also bore the names of previous school shooters, with several inscriptions written in Cyrillic script.
YouTube videos and journals
Investigators confirmed Westman had uploaded two videos to a channel titled “Robin W” before the platform took them down.
- First Video (10 minutes): Showed a cache of weapons, ammunition, and loaded magazines with disturbing phrases written on them. Westman also displayed a smaller firearm, saying, “This one is for me. In case I need it.” The video ended with a letter apologizing to family members.
- Second Video (20 minutes): Displayed two handwritten journals—one over 150 pages, entirely in Cyrillic, and another 60-page notebook with a final entry dated August 21, 2025.
Official response
US Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed the authenticity of the video, describing the attacker as a “deeply sick murderer.” She noted that among the scrawled messages were “For the Children” and “Where is your God?”
We have confirmation that the shooter at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, MN was a 23 year-old man, claiming to be transgender.
This deranged monster targeted our most vulnerable: young children praying in their first morning Mass of the school year. This deeply sick…

President Donald Trump ordered the US flag to be flown at half-staff nationwide in mourning for the victims.
Authorities confirmed that Westman had legally purchased the firearms, had no prior criminal record, and acted alone.
