Ram Mandir’s first anniversary celebrations moved to January 11
In a significant development, the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust has unveiled images of the various shrines under construction in the Ram Templecomplex in Ayodhya.
This release comes ahead of the first anniversary of the consecration ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol at the temple, scheduled for January 22.
According to the Trust, the complex will feature several prominent shrines, including the Surya Mandir, Ganesh Mandir, Shiva Mandir, Durga Mandir, Annapurna Mandir, and Hanuman Mandir. These additional structures are being developed as part of the grand vision for the Ram Temple site, which is expected to become a major religious and cultural hub.

In a related announcement, the Trust revealed that it would celebrate the Pran Pratishtha anniversary on January 11 instead of the previously planned date of January 22.
The decision to observe the event on January 11 is due to the Paush Shukla Dwadashi, also known as Kurma Dwadashi, which holds special significance in the Hindu calendar.
On January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the historic ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony in Ayodhya, marking the long-awaited homecoming of Shri Ram after 500 years.
The momentous event, which saw the grand inauguration of the Ram Mandir, was accompanied by widespread celebrations. During the ceremony, the face of Ram Lalla was revealed, symbolizing the fulfillment of a decades-long struggle.
As the inauguration of the temple marked the culmination of a decades-long campaign, the PM said it was the advent of a new era.
