Yogi Adityanath mocks Opposition as ‘three monkeys’: Targets Rahul, Tejashwi, and Akhilesh at Bihar rally
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday launched a scathing attack on the Opposition INDIA alliance, taking a jibe at its key leaders — Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav, and Akhilesh Yadav — by dubbing them “Pappu, Tappu, and Akku.”
Addressing a high-energy election rally in Keoti, located in Bihar’s Darbhanga district, Yogi likened the trio to “three monkeys” of Mahatma Gandhi, saying the Opposition has brought in “three monkeys” to campaign in Bihar.
“Just as Mahatma Gandhi had three monkeys, today the INDIA alliance brought in three monkeys in the name of Pappu, Tappu, and Akku — Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav, and Akhilesh Yadav. Pappu cannot speak the truth or say anything good. Tappu cannot see any truth, and Appu cannot hear the truth,” Yogi said, amid loud cheers from the crowd.
Accuses Opposition of sheltering criminals and infiltrators
The UP Chief Minister alleged that the Congress, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), and Samajwadi Party (SP) have “embraced criminals” in Bihar and compromised the state’s security by “allowing infiltrators to flourish.”
“These people cannot see the development done by the NDA. They mingle with mafia families and disrupt the security of the state,” he asserted, adding that such politics stands in contrast to the NDA’s vision of a secure and developed Bihar.
‘They divide society and insult our faith’
Yogi further accused the Opposition alliance of dividing society along caste lines and undermining national security.
“With guns and pistols, they tainted Bihar’s entire system. These are the same people who divide you on caste, invite infiltrators, tamper with your faith, and weaken national security. Congress, RJD, and SP are blatant Hindu traitors, Ram traitors, and opponents of Maa Janaki. We will oppose anyone who stands against Shri Ram and Maa Janaki,” Yogi thundered.
Bihar gears up for two-phase assembly polls
The Bihar Assembly elections will take place in two phases on November 6 and 11, with counting scheduled for November 14. The Keoti constituency, where Yogi addressed his rally, will witness a four-way contest between the BJP, RJD, AIMIM, and Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party.
A day earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led a massive roadshow in Patna, urging voters to support the NDA. The city was decked in saffron flags and flowers as crowds lined the streets to greet the PM.
