At the same time, Israel carried out a fresh round of strikes in central Iran and targeted alleged Hezbollah-linked sites in Beirut, according to reports.

Saudi Arabia’s defence ministry also said it had foiled ballistic missile attacks aimed at the Prince Sultan Air Base, along with additional drone threats targeting the capital Riyadh.

The developments come as Iran continues retaliatory operations across the Gulf region following recent military strikes involving the United States and Israel.
