The 2005 cable recorded Saeed Naqvi’s claims about Rahul Gandhi but did not present them as a CIA diagnosis or an established U.S. government medical assessment.

“Unfit for Prime Minister”: What the 2005 US Cable said about Rahul Gandhi

There is something seriously wrong with the mental faculties of Rahul Gandhi, who has been struggling to occupy the chair of Indian Prime Minister. Why have George Soros, the Deep State, and Islamic terrorist organisations chosen Rahul Gandhi as the rallying point to bring together all anti-national forces in India with the sole mission of dethroning the Narendra Modi government? Not because of the leadership qualities or intellectual capabilities of Rahul Gandhi. The sole purpose behind the “Mission India” operation by various anti-national forces is to anoint a person with psychiatric problems to head the government, and they are sure that such a leader would dance to their tunes.

Rahul Gandhi was chosen as the figurehead because the puppeteers know well that he has a lot of psychiatric problems, which have been confirmed by the US government through intelligence gathering by the CIA. A social media post by S Gurumurthy, a noted chartered accountant and editor of Thuglak weekly, has opened a Pandora’s box which has shocked the persons who matter in India.

It was a known fact even before Rahul Gandhi emerged as a full-time politician that all was not well with him and he was suffering from some kind of psychological disorder. The much-talked-about fisticuffs between Rahul Gandhi and the son of a highly respected Union minister during the tenure of Rajiv Gandhi as Prime Minister is still spoken about in journalistic circles in the national capital. The Union minister, who was staying in the bungalow adjacent to 7, Race Course Road, was forced to move out to a house away from the official residence of the Prime Minister because of the continued torments and bashings inflicted on the former’s son by a hyperactive Rahul Gandhi.

It has come to light in a communication sent by the US embassy staff to their headquarters in Washington that there was something seriously disturbing about Rahul Gandhi. Gurumurthy says in his social media post: “The WikiLeaks post in 2014 referring to a US diplomatic cable in 2005 said, quoting ‘family and party circles’, Rahul has psychological issues and is unfit for office.”

It quotes Saeed Naqvi, a very well-known journalist and a close friend of the Sonia-Rahul family, telling a US diplomat: “Rahul Gandhi suffered from emotional or psychological personality problems severe enough to prevent him from functioning as Prime Minister.” This message was sent in 2005, but WikiLeaks made it public in 2014.

The gatecrashing by Rahul Gandhi into a September 2013 live press meet addressed by Congress spokesman Ajay Maken and declaring that the legislation enacted by the UPA government to save convicted legislators from losing their membership of the House had taken all by surprise. It was immediately after this incident that the WikiLeaks release of the controversial message sent by the US embassy to Washington surfaced in the public domain.

Gurumurthy says in his post that “Since he entered his own party press conference and tore its own (legislation) to amend a law — his behaviour has been abnormal to arrogant, understandable to unbelievable. He is mysterious in his appearance and disappearance. His abnormality is now peaking.”

Though he turned a full-time politician in the early 2000s itself, the first time people in the country got a chance to see Rahul Gandhi was in a television interview telecast by Times Now. Arnab Goswami, who later launched his own channel, Republic News, was the one who grilled the Nehru-Gandhi scion, and the interview indicated that the latter had to travel a long way before entering the big league of national politics.

Saeed Naqvi, a veteran journalist and close associate of the Nehru-Gandhi clan, was the one interviewed by the US embassy staff. Naqvi was forthright in his views and said that the young Gandhi suffered from emotional and psychological turbulence. Though the WikiLeaks disclosures were made in 2014, nobody from the Congress Party or the Nehru-Gandhi clan has responded to Naqvi’s observations to date. To put it bluntly, the words and deeds of Rahul Gandhi show the world that he is not mentally sound to take up a serious responsibility like the post of India’s Prime Minister.

Naqvi also said the Gandhi family had preferred Priyanka (seen as more intelligent and savvy), but Sonia (described as having protective “Italian mother” instincts) had chosen Rahul instead.

He concluded that Gandhi dynastic politics had “no future” because the family had run out of candidates with the necessary charisma; Indira was the last effective one, and Rahul was “far below even his father in political ability.” (A full version of the post by WikiLeaks is added to this article so that readers get a first-hand experience of the US assessment of Rahul Gandhi.)

Starting from the incident in the Lok Sabha when Rahul Gandhi walked to the Prime Minister’s chair and pulled Narendra Modi, asking him to get up, winking at his party colleagues and throwing tantrums at women members of the House are just a few instances that throw light on his defective personality. In addition to this, his declarations like the invention of a machine that converts potato into gold and that there is no need to have this many soldiers guarding the Chinese and Pakistani borders had left even Congressmen in splits.

The “oust Gyanesh Kumar” campaign is the latest blooper committed by Rahul Gandhi. He expressed shock over the absence of an anti-incumbency feeling among the people for Narendra Modi. “All governments have to face an anti-incumbency feeling from the people after two years. But in the case of Narendra Modi, we do not see any such feeling, and this is the proof of vote theft,” Rahul Gandhi said during a nationally televised press meet.

The WikiLeaks disclosures had left no stone unturned as they said that the station officer in the US Embassy had spoken to many persons close to the Nehru-Gandhi family, including relatives. Most of them were unanimous in their view that all was not well with the mental state of Rahul Gandhi. Gurumurthy is shocked about the scenario if Rahul Gandhi becomes the Prime Minister. “If Rahul, as Opposition Leader, could be so odd and mysterious, how will he be if he becomes PM? He has to build global relations, make economic and geopolitical decisions affecting not only India but other countries too.

He has to take such decisions ranging from war on terror to war on nations. Atomic weapons will be under his control.

It will be a disaster.

It is critical for the nation to know whether he has such psychic issues.
